Comparisons/experiences between the R9 and G15 irons?  I have R7s in graphite but hit them thin with too much draw despite proper fittings.  Tried the R9s and G15s in steel at a demo day and liked them both -- but can't decide....

Just bought a set of G15's with Dynamic Gold s300's. Great clubs, very forgiving. Make sure you get the right shafts for your swing.

Known as iron ho, tried every iron out on the market then settled with G15 w/ AWT X-Stiff.
fitting is very important so get fitted for proper shaft.

Perfect thread for me... I'm still a ways off from getting new irons, but these two sets are my leading candidates.

For all of you who play the G15s, what is your handicap? I can play to a 4-5 handicap when I play regularly, but since I play so infrequently nowadays, I play to a 8-9 and I'm thinking I could use the forgiveness of the G15s.

Did any of you demo the i15s also? I was leaning towards those, but like I said, I think I could use the forgiveness of the G15s. I haven't made it to a demo day yet, but I plan to soon.

Thanks

Im at 12 now.

I tried my previous gamer, i15 and g15 on fitting session and g15 came out the strongest.

I15 was good but I lost distance on it compared to my previous.

I played with mini tour players and a lot of them play GI or SGI.... says something

G15 hands down winner of the 2 IMO. I bought the G5's for the price, but if that was no issue, I'd have gone with G15's.

Very forgiving and consistent irons.
