Between these 2 drivers I am interested in your reviews and comparison between these 2. I am looking for stock shaft 10.5 stiff. If you had to bag one, which one would it be and why?

My main concern is like everyone else, distance and accuracy.

Thanks in advance.

I've hit a lot of drivers over the last few years and always end up back at Taylormade.  I have not hit either R9 or G15 but I'd be willing to bet on the TM R9 460 as far as feel and distance.  Not to mention the stock shaft is pretty sweet and you can adjust the lie angle if need be.

I just went and demoed the R9 supertri and the G15. I currently have a G5 so I'm kind of partial to Ping drivers. However, the Taylormade won hands down. The main reason is the launch angle. My driver and the G15 hit the ball much lower than the R9. I have always hit the ball low and I was absolutely amazed at how easy it was for me to get the R9 up in the air. It seemed to be as forgiving if not more forgiving on my "off-center" hits. I know this isn't the R9 460 but thought I would share anyway.

To me I had opposite stats used the R9 425 and the r9 460 last year, this year made the switch to the G15 with a diamana ilima stiff and love the results nice high boring ball flight the loft is 10.5.  distance wise longer (by a little to the R9 460) but the accuracy is sick almost wrong.  Ping g15 properly fit is to me the solid winner.

I own a R9 460 and I am thinking of going for a G15, I have the R9 with a Oban Devotion in at the moment and after a winter of lessons my launch angle and spin are a touch too low, I hit the G15 the other day with a tail wind and the higher launch I got from it produced an extra 20 yards of carry, I tested again on a day when I was hitting into a head wind, the ball was landing in a similar position to the R9 but had less roll out. I would probably say the G15 is a touch more forgiving both were superb for me with regard to accuracy. I would quite happily game any of them. For me I will be testing the G15 a bit more, thinking maybe a Voodoo in the G15 will be just fine for me

I not only hit everything, but I do on course comparisons.  The R9 460 was without a doubt the shortest driver distance wise that was made in the past couple years when I hit it.  I even put a Project X graphite in it to lower the launch and spin, and it still spun like a top and shot straight up.  The ridiculously high spin led to it being 30 yards shorter on every swing than the 09 Burner TP I was comparing it to.

Now if you're someone that struggles getting the ball off the ground (with spin and/or launch deficiencies), then I'd suggest the R9 460 as an option.  If this is not the case, there's no doubt in my mind the G15 would be a longer driver.

The G15 is a much superior driver to the G10 in my opinion.  For a someone looking for low launch and low spin, the I15 can't be beat!

PING g15 with the stock offering. Long, forgiving and accurate. I currently bag a Rapture V2 with diamana.. I will have no reservations putting a PING g15 in play.  As for the R9 460 its a good driver, spins a bit more, could be the shaft. But atbe I go with the G15

Well, I walked out with a Super Tri after testing all 3 side by side. Distance was the same for the G15 and Super Tri. My tempo was so much better with the Super Tri. I was hitting the ball a lot straighter and more solid. I think it had less spin as well. Thank you to all of you who gave your feedback. I told myself I was not going to buy another Taylormade product as long as I lived. Dammit!

I like both, but currently play the R9 460.  Just as long as any other driver in my opinion, but for me it is slightly straighter, and I just like the look and adjustability features better.
