My ex had an irrational phobia of salad cream. Honestly.

The last photos I saw of his bag had him playing 710 AP2s and a mix of tour chrome Vokey 200 and Spin Mill wedges. He seems to be still playing the same Adams Idea Pro Gold hybrid as he was bagging at Turnberry last year, plus a 909 Series driver.

A great talent and a genuinely nice, grounded lad. He'll go far.

He has Alberto Binaghi on the bag this week, he was a decent player in his day. Remember watching him hit balls at Gleneagles in the late 80s, good striker of the ball.

I saw this kid at the range during the junior orange bowl a few months ago. All I can say is WOW.

Here's a picture of his bag on Monday.  Not the best view.  Looked like AP2's, some Vokey Wedges, a Scotty, and some 909 woods.  Most of the stuff had head covers on so I didn't get a great look.  It was awesome watching him play with Tom Watson.  Kid had a smile on his face the entire time.  I can't imagine what kind of experience that'd be.  On one of the holes (I think 14), he pulled it slightly and Watson told him he needed to move it back about 2 inches in his stance.  He takes another ball and just pipes it down the middle.   Everyone just starts laughing and clapping.  Watson just has has this smirk on his face an Matteo has a huge smile on his face.  Theres no doubt this kid can play.  We'll be hearing about him more often.

I'm pretty sure he has an Axivcore in his 909D2 and PX in his AP2s but that's about all I can add. He'll be up on Titleist's website soon enough after he turns pro Sunday.

It's scary to think how good Manassero is at just 16 (but turning 17 soon I heard)... he finished like T14th at The Open if I recall? He's certainly a player I'll be keeping an eye out during The Masters, I hope he can make the cut.

I'm still very annoyed at the very stupid comments Peter Allis made about Matteo at the US Masters  :diablo:

A great talent and a lovely guy too.

One of his least impressive moments came when Torrance praised Italian amateur Matteo Manassero. “He’s not only a fantastic talent,” said Sam, “but intelligent with it. Fluent in four languages.” Alliss chipped in: “Yes, and I haven’t heard him say anything interesting in any of them.” Torrance, quite rightly, replied: “But Peter, he’s only 16.”

Looks like Manassero has signed with Titleist and Ralph Lauren as his sponsors.

I reckon Watson had something to do with this. Great move.

The future og golf is looking good worldwide with all of these young men to take the reigns as Tiger fades into the sunset.  It will be interesting to see how much longer will play after his divorce goes through.  Will he bury himself in his golf and chase down Jack's 18 or will he pack his bags and take his yacht around the world (if Elin does not get it in the divorce).

The Ap2 irons, and deff looks like the new blacked adjustable titleist driver (Im not familiar with titleist), maybe a new cameron with the three red dots in the back as opposed to the one above with white dots.  The announcers were quite impressed with him but said that he doesnt hit it the longest way and that may trip him up at times.  Looks really good to me!

I find it hard to believe he uses a firm flex in his irons...project x 5.5? Weak flex on his wedges, too? Hmmmm.....sure its not 6.5?

Seems like 99 percent of pros use x flex shafts as far as I know.
