:drinks: It's your last round of golf EVER, where would you play and who would you play with? (dead or alive) it's your fantasy
My foursome,

I would play at Sawgrass with

Freddie Couples
Tiger Woods
John Daly
and me of course.

Probably not the direction that most people will head with this, but I would play at our home country club with my wife and 2 sons.

Cliff,

I agree with you.....I'd play my home course with my dad, grandpa, and my brother (preferably after a few years of working on his game, since he is only 7)

For my last round, I would definitely have to go with Ben Crane, Bernhard Langer, Padraig Harrington, Mark Brooks, and Reid (pitbull808) at whatever nice course Reid could get us on in Hawaii. Reasons are simple; with 6 of us playing together, the round will last a long time. With Ben, Bernhard, Padraig, and Mark it would get even longer. With Reid there I think I would actually enjoy every minute of what would be the longest round in the history of golf. :cheesy:

I would play with my normal mens day 4some. If they are good enough every week they are good enough for my final round.

I would say my father but he doesn't golf at all.

I would be interested to see the average age of the people that say they would play in a "dream foursome" and the guys that say family. I guess as you build your own family and get older, your priorities change.

Last round, this is easy for me:

My wife, my sister who I lost when I was 20, and my friend Rob who was like a brother to me.

Beruo...I don't know if I should be touched or cut your last round short by :bigwhack: for forcing me to play such a long round with you! :cheesy:

For my last round it would be much simpler. Me and my father....take me back thirty years in age where I was just learning from him hitting from the 150yard markers at Mid Pacific Country Club. Back when I learned to really love the game for what it was worth...not because of what clubs I was playing or score I was shooting. :crazy2:

Well since it is my last round of golf ever and no mention my last day alive I would always have my family around so therefore I would play my last round with
Jack Nicklaus
Tiger Woods
Ernie Els
And of course myself at Augusta National.

Now that would be an awesome foursome

It has to be Augusta in the Spring, with Boom-Boom to provide the classiness and style you would want to be playing in your last round, Lefty to explain why Boom-Boom is so classy and fill the round with not only explaining it, but showing us why he is ‘such an idiot’ and then JD for the trash-talking (and someone to cover my bets). I think after that round I could walk off into the sunset with that memory…

I'd play with my father at our home club as I have many times in my life. I hope that is what his last round becomes.

If it's a dream foursome, I'd go with Hogan, Nelson, and Dan Jenkins at just about any club. All three are natives of Cowtown and have probably done as much for golf as any other three people from the same hometown anywhere.

Mark Brooks is from here as well, but he doesn't make that foursome.

Edit: Forget playing just anyclub, let's do it at Glen Garden. That's where Hogan and Nelson were caddies and given the current condition of the course, it would remind Jenkins of Goat Hills.

The National... My girlfriend, my buddy Dave and my buddy Josh
and all the pemento cheese sandwiches we can eat!

oh I also want to swim to the 16th green... yeah I realize that water is probably like jumping in the reactor core at three mile island, but on this day its filled with spring water.

This is fun....let's see:

Jesus would have to be # 1...not only would it be great to shoot the breeze with him about life and history and all the things in the world and in heaven but I'm pretty sure he could post a pretty low number on the course and that would be cool to see. ;)

# 2 would be Lee Trevino....just having him in the group and hearing him giving Jesus Christ the business all day would be priceless. I'm sure Lee would have Jesus talked into a $50 nasseau before teeing off on the first hole.

# 3 would have to be Payne Stewart...just because I think his best golfing days were still ahead of him. To give him one more chance at breaking par would be pretty cool.

# 4 Would be Charles Barkley....just cause he'd make me feel better about my swing (and he could probably give Lee Trevino a run for his money in the trash talking department).

# 5 (yes, I get a fivesome...Jesus knows the starter personally) Would be Tiger. Gotta let the best player in on the action. And if anybody could give Jesus a run for his money I think Tiger would be up for the challenge.

I'd have my wife following shortly behind in the beverage cart snapping pictures all day and my son carrying my bag and snagging autographs.

Oh yeah and we'd play at Augusta in the early morning, St. Andrews in the early afternoon and Pebble Beach in the evening, finishing just in time to share a cold one while overlooking the 18th green.

Ahhh yes....it's fun to dream. Man that would be fun.

I know this isn't very exciting, but I'd take my wife, her dad (who got me into the game), and his buddy rudy (who is just fun as hell to golf with). Ideally, take them to some uber-swanky course (Pebble Beach? ) or just have us go down to Arrowhead and play amongst the Red Rocks. :drinks:

Maybe I'll change my mind after playing golf in Bermuda and Catalunya this fall :beach:

Star 4-some would be: umm, Annika, Tiger, Daly (just for sheer humor factor), and me :)

The who is fairly easy. I'd take my dad (got me started in this game, thanks Dad, I miss you), my oldest son, and one of the guys I usually play with. The where would be a bit more difficult. Pebble, Augusta, Castle Pines would be up there at the top of the list

Here's mine.

1st person is someone I can't believe no one has said so far: Natalie Gulbis (f-ing hot; a lot of you would rather play with family than with her? Come on, you'll see your family after your round; you don't get to see someone like her very often in real life)

2nd is gonna be Tiger Woods (becuase he's Tiger and he's awesome)

3rd would be Bubba Watson; the long ball is always entertaining, and plus, he's a lefty like me.

4th would be me :)

Hopefully this round would last forever because I don't ever want to stop golfing. I would wanna play every famous course; Augusta, St. Andrews, Winged Foot, Pebble Beach, Hazeltine, Kapalua, and many many more. Non-stop golf.
