He was using a different putter at the Tavistock Cup. It wasn't his old Kombi-S (Long), and it was not that Prototype Futura/Kombi blend that he has been using lately. Looked a lot like an older Big Sur.

I bet AS will sign a huge club deal once his contract is up with Titleist.  Anyone know how many more years is on his Titleist contract by chance?

Sorry, my question wasn't clear -- it's just a AD-DI 8 like anyone could buy, except with a different paint job, and not some kind of prototype or tour only version of the AD-DI?

He had GD to paint it black because he didn't like the color of it. after that everyone wanted one on tour and GD refused to customize the colors because it'd be less recognizable and wouldn't be marketed the same. Imagine if tigers was painted black. I bet they would have sold half as many.
So to answer your question, it is the same, just painted black.

Yes tha'ts what I've been told... he's been playing it for a couple years now.  Although I'm not sure any of us truly know but I believe GDintl chimed in in an old post about this several years ago.

I think he's the face of Titleist now that rory has jumped ship. Wouldn't be surprised if they gave him more money on his next re-up.
