Wow that image of Garica is nuts.

Anyone know what setup Garcia has on his R11S. Saw 'Inside the Ropes' yesterday (they did a thing on Taylormade and was pretty recent) and Garcia said he has the ASP set to close (not sure if it was C+) and has a heavier weight in the heel, not sure about the FCT. Thought it sounded funny since I thought Garcia natural shot was a draw and with that setup you would think he would hook the hell out of it.

Awesome pic of his swing. Hopefully he'll keep this streak of good golf going into next year and pick up that first major. I would also like to hear how his R11s is setup.

Sergio Garcia likes to put the finishing touches on his own clubs, and the tour van staff at TaylorMade makes room for him to work.

At Crooked Stick, Garcia wanted two new ATV wedges.

"[It was] mainly as a standard refresh for his gamers and to ensure he's taking advantage of spin produced by new microtexture grooves on the ATV," said TaylorMade's PGA Tour correspondent, Charlie Kautz.

TaylorMade created a new 50-degree wedge bent to 51 degrees and a new 58-degree wedge bent to 56 degrees for Garcia. Garcia himself finished them off by grinding the heel and toe to his specifications.

The Spaniard finished T24 for the BMW.

What's going to make Sergio longer? I think it will be a longer stiffer shaft or some strange head

I guess this can go here.

Interesting to see his launch so low. Is that his normal launch angle or was it just the shot he was playing?

That would actually be considered high by Sergio's standards.
His averaged measured launch on the PGA Tour is 7.93, one of the very lowest.

Stage 2 Tour (9°) Oban Devotion 6 05
Stage 2 Tour (14.5°) Black Tie 7m3
Stage 2 Tour (19.5°) Black Tie Hm3 95
Rocketbladez Tour (4-AW) KBS Tour X
ATV (56° and 61°) KBS Tour X
Daddy Long Legs

He's gotta turn that around. Lower than spin and increase that launch. He'd be a monster.

He leads ridiculously with the hands and stands really close to the ball. That's the perfect combo for a low launch.

7.93 o  that's ridiculous. He'll probably stay like that though Garcia isn't really the type of guy that would change his swing completely. Give him some proper launch numbers and a 45.5+ inch driver and I wonder how far he would hit it.

Nice find Lesmond. Interesting that he has a 50 and a 58 so a 3 degree gap between PW and GW and a 8 degree gap between GW and LW. Wished he'd explained that.

I was surprised to hear that Sergio plays his irons 1/2" short. I know it's not a huge difference but he's 5'10".
