I doubt that specific iron was his personal club. But last nights episode he was definitely hitting an iron from the fitting cart.

GolfChannel uses ABoutGolf and they have a 6 camera radar system built for them. There is no LM used in this system; therefore, no tape or special clubs. There are 2 cameras used for each of the 3 hitting spots. Everything else is specific to GC, including their rear projection unit, screen and new touch screen technology.
The new AG LM will utilize a face tape with a white line, it is in final R&D now. No special balls, or hitting area.
Since this is a live show, it really demonstrates the sim technology well.

I haven't seen what your speaking of but can speak to my own expereince on the subject. I have 3/4" fancy ferrules on 2-PW and 1 1/4" fancy ferrules on SW and LW. Reason for longer ferrules on wedges is I believe longer ferrules lengthen the affects of the hosel contributing to feel.
PepperTurbo, are you using wooden dowels in your hosel for better feel?

I am thinking of having my next set of irons made with dowels. I know our resident expert, Joe Kwok, is a fan of the wooden dowel treatment.

I put money on Breed being a better golfer and more knowledgeable about the golf swing than you. What are your credentials?

I have them in my R7 TP's. And I do think they have a better feel to them. Less harsh. Cheap Sensicore!!

As a PGA Professional then I'm sure you know that the Association frowns on it's members criticizing other members. Obviously, more people like Michael Breed and Golf Fix, than dislike. So I suppose you don't appreciate his support when he adds "go see your PGA Professional" during his show. Show some respect.

He has 7 PGA, Nationwide, LPGA players he currently lists. He's in Golf Magazine's Top 100 teachers and is highly respected in his area of the country among fellow PGA pros and has been recognized for his teaching and published.
Actually, I see someone listed them above.
Not saying you aren't qualified not to like him, with your 18 years of experience, but don't think you want to go down the road of comparing resumes. Then again, yours may be more impressive and that would be great, also.
Haha. Sounds pretty qualified to me
Not saying I like him but at least he has some energy unlike a lot of other top golf pros

I used to teach and play mini tours as well, I find his show helpful to most players and he has to be upbeat. No one would watch a boring show about a guy teaching golf. Just my 2 cents.
NOW, back on topic. I think the ferrules are either a fitting cart or the black tape that's needed for the sim to pick up the numbers it needs to register.
