I just talked to Bobby and Luke is using a black C-03 prototype which is a BB8 that Bettinardi gave to Luke at the BMW last week in England.

Was just watching the Byron Nelson and wondering if there were any tweaks to the bag.  Driver didn't look like a D1, but I didn't get a great look.

Have just seen a photo from the the second round of Byron Nelson and he is definitly using a 907D1. It looks like he has some new Mizuno h/covers.

He likes the classic look of Titleist's drivers... are you guys sure he's not using the D2?

i thought he was using the d2, that is what it looked like on tv but i might be wrong and what shaft are in his driver, irons, what flex?

I am not too sure about the shafts in his woods. I only have some quite old information on that. Pretty sure that has changed. He used to play True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 shafts in his irons. Why would he change those... I like to see professionals playing s300s. Good to know that not all of them play X.

I saw his driver stats from a launch monitor at a fitting I went to and they are very average compared to what we hear about on tour which would be the reason for normal shafts etc. Plays a slight fade with this driver.

I saw him at the Match Play in Tucson and he was using a D2.

He is trying a few of them as we speaks, mostly on D2!

He is kind of picky, but once he found what he like...he'll keep it forever!

That 280 distance on his driver, thats with roll right?

44.5 driver lenght, i love that.

280 distance is really short for a touring pro. That would be equivalent to 256.032 metres. I hit that distance when I was 16. Perhaps he is just controlling the accuracy of the ball?

I hit it 280 yards yesterday but it had about 25 yards of roll. the Luke is goooood.

Who´s Luke Donald???

A guy with a nice swing, but no ablility to play with the big boys. I can´t understand, why he´s Mizzi´s marquise player.

Intresting, the new MP-630 woods are not in Donald´s bag. Not a good sign about the tour-quality of the new Mizzi woods.

Tour pros don't all hit it as far as is so often hyped up. This season, the average was just under 285 yards, with only 7 guys averaging over 300. Those numbers include roll, so it doesn't take Einstein to work out that only a handful carry it more than 280. Rest assured, Luke isn't one of them
