well I'm thrilled, but Im tired of waiting. I'm stuck playing my slingshots shovels for now.

On another post someone says the final retail version will not have the anvil and they will have 2 lines wrapping around the top of the hosel.

now you know I can't answer that :stop:

they were a feature of my tour titleist bag that has been replaced (happily) with my b'stone bag and don't have an once of regret.

its good to see some of you to here guys...just found out about this site. Might have to start spreading some of my bstone love.

I have an extra set of j33 combos :D

this is 100% true! I had tour set and a prototype of the retail version like the ones you just described.

From what i gather these will be the retail chrome version. Notice the black plug on theses rather than the metal plug. Also the grey paint juxtaposed against the chrome looks really bad in the third photo of the blade iron. I hope it is just the lighting and the camera, and that in person they look more like the 690 CB's grey paint job....
PS. i didn't take these pictures.

I agree with you about the paint and the chrome. I'll probably smack some lead tape on there, plus I like heavy clubs.

great pics finalist, finally some pics of the final retail version. I don't love the grey nich either but I don't think it looks bad. Lots of Titleist love on this board, it may have to start being my first stop on the golf internet trail!

I had a chance to hit Peter Kostis's set yesterday. It was set up at d4. What an awesome set. Very solid. Shorter heel to toe than my rac lts but very solid.

At first I was pretty excited about these and thought they looked sweet. Think it was just the 'new factor'. As time goes by and the more I look at them I'm not so sure. Tha CBs look nice, but the notch and overall look of the blade short irons just isn't doing it for me. Just looks "off" to me. I think overall the new 695CBs look much nicer.

They still look sweet to me. I'm more curious if the loft and lie are the same as the 704's?

Just bought a set........I'll have them on wednesday. I'll let you know how they are on thursday.

I'm in love with these irons. I hit them high but with no balooning whatsoever. They are standard DCI specs (loft/lie/length) but carry the same as my Hogan FTX's which are stronger in loft.

Very playable sole, wider than my Miuras. Not sure what I would gain in trying the carbon/chrome version since I think the satainless feel soft and muted. 3 days on the golf course with these and I'm sold.

Nope......my set has the logo on the toe of the club. The retail version does not. I'm not sure when they will be available at retail. Some say mid Aug, others say sept.

rhersch, sweeeet :yahoo: ... Yours are stainless, right? How do they compare feel and size to the 690cb and 704cb?

hey I finally thought of a new question.... Will the 735s have the neutralizer dowel in the hosel like the 690s? ...and does the dowel really help?

Incredible looking. I hear Golfweek has a tabloid size ad for the 735s. I'm going straight to the newsstand to check it out. Hopefully it's the current issue.

Finalist, I just checked out the picture in Golfweek (digital) and this picture is better than the one in the magazine. It's a two page spread about the CPC and a small part of the spread has a bag with chrome 735's in it. I tried to zoom in alittle more but the picture lost it's clarity. RSchaffer29, that is an awesome pic!

WOW, I think I'm back on the chrome side of the fence!
