No fair, they always get the better looking stuff. I guess they're not afraid to pay for it though. I think those forged SQ irons look pretty good too,much better than the non-forged, louder looking version we got hear.

I knwo I hate that we cant get the good stuff. I contacted Nike about this stuff and they saud you have to get with a Japan dealer to get it.

well that was only in comparison to the US VR tour... why did they cut the compression channel of where the sweet spot is?

I talked with someone from Nike. This is what they said.

Nike Golf Chad - we are working on a strategy to make things available that are only available in other regions outside of the US (take the Forged SQ Machspeed Irons for example which are only available in Japan). That said, this is not a quick-turn project and we do not have an ETA at this time.

Well, I hit the Machspeed Forged irons today.

I work in Beaverton next to Nike, so I was at the range 3 mins from us today during lunch. A guy showed up and was a few stalls down... I spoted Machspeed irons, but looked different then the retail version. Asked him, "Are those Machspeed?" He replied, "Yes, forged one". From his attire and what's in the bag, he obviously works for Nike. Anyway, we chatted about how these aren't released in the U.S. and Japan only, and then chatted with him about U.S. vs. Japan market. He offered to let me hit them, and of course I did.

They are nice looking, nice size heads. I took 2 swings at them, both launched high, easy to hit. As you can see in my sig, I play Scratch irons, I can't say these feel softer than my Scratch. But kudos for Nike to come out with this forged club, it a very nice looking club.

He didn't mention about there are talks on releasing them in the U.S.

Man, that is one nice-looking driver IMO. I like the VR drivers, but I honstly prefer this!

I just read the description of the Machspeed Round on tourspec.com. The materials used in the construction of the Machspeed Round appears to be totally different from the US Square Machspeed. Also, the Machspeed Forged look like they can give the Diablo Forged a run for the money.

A buddy got the new Round MachSpeed. While I'm not a NIKE fan AT ALL, I did like the shape and general concept. He had a 9.5 with the GD AD DI 5-S and this thing was a MONSTER!!! Didn't have as much of the Nike "Aluminum Bat" Driver Sound, but it was still there. Over All it was VERY LONG and very satisfying. Good job, NIKE. Now if you could just release the good S*** to the US, that would be great...
