Got an e-mail from Fuji for the PGA Show, in it was a picture of a Motore F3 shaft that was grey?  Anyone heard or know about it?

According to the specs, it should be a little higher launch, and spin.
Same as the Rombax Z is to the W.

Which is the F3 then the Z or the W?  Because many will argue the F1 are pretty low launch.  Motore F165 is one of teh lowest spinning lowest launching according to Titleist testing with teh F1 75 being more mid/mid.

The F-3 is more like the Rombax W
The F-1 would be more similar to the Rombax Z

I have some prototypes of these, but they are plain grey with different proto numbers.  I'll get the rest of the info on them and let you guys know.  I might even sell a few if the mods will allow; more later...

Found out the ones that I have are prototypes made for specific players, Tiger, Poulter, Els, Fowler, and Kim.  They are different weights and profiles, so I don't know for sure if any of them are Motore F3 protos. Sorry I couldn't help you out after all.

I just ordered a Diablo Edge Tour driver with the motore F3 60/S shaft in it. I had the F1 in my R9 driver and it did launch pretty low for me. We shall see how this works.

I can't wait to hit this combo as soon as the dang snow goes away. ~SIGH~

F3 is a great shaft.  It launches higher than the F1 but retains much of the feel and accuracy of the F1.  And looks a million times better.  I would put this shaft in my bag immediately if the Motore Speeders weren't so good.

Fuji really hit a winner with the F3.  Should fit the masses better than the F1 which was tough for many people to load and get ideal launch conditions.

Man, I hope so. Driving is the worst part of my game. I have 5 drivers to try out this year. I have really worked hard in 09 to get rid of my slight over the top move with a hook face. I was going to put a Kaili in my DET, but they are too expensive for me.

I think the F3 is a better shaft than the Kai'li.  Played that one last year.  It was OK but the backweighting threw me off a little.

Really? That's good to hear. Like I said before, the F1 was just too low launching for my taste. I used it at the start of the year and didn't give it much of a chance as my swing was horrible. Hoping this year with the F3 will be better.

Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have tried a FT-iz head instead.... I really drive myself nuts sometimes!  :rolleyes:

Any feedback on the F3 95 HB hybrid shafts, say perhaps against the Speeder 904 HB or the Rombax 8D07?

Thinking about getting the Motore F3....currently using the Fuji E350.....with an 87 mpf swing speed is this a good switch?

should get my 910d2 driver with upgraded F3 shaft any day now.  I was fitted at a demo day.

Wonderful! Should be a great combo.

I tried it in a proto Adams head (60 S tipped something, enough to play strong), and it was a phenomenal match. Too bad someone bought it, I should have snagged it! Great feel and characteristics, and I would go back and try the 70 in a heartbeat. I haven't hit the Kai'li, but I would imagine that they would feel and play very similarly.

with the information you provided all we can say is ... it's definetly a good switch for the person that sells you the new shaft

to get a somewhat informed guess you will need to include the following:
which club ... which shaft (done) ... which flex ... current launch monitor numbers ... what do you want to change and why

I'm going to bring some life to an old thread to see if anyone has new thoughts on this shaft.

I'm trying a complete GI driver in a degree lower loft than usual for me (Cleveland Hibore XL 8.5), so I'm wanting something pretty mid launch with mid/low spin and was wondering if we think this might fit the bill?  I've got an RIP 60x in a Ping V2 now and like it but I get the quick lefts with it a little too often and it has basically negative feel.  So kinda hoping this might have a little more life to it in the feel department along with something Blueboard-esque in the spin/launch areas.  I'm also looking to put a 70x in a 3 wood so any thoughts on it in a FW would also be appreciated.

This shaft has been a big hit for me. I'm a 5hcp with 105 mph driver swing speed. I have the 80 gram tour van version. I'm not sure it is readily available, but im also sure it is obtainable.
Like you i was looking to eliminate the left side of the course which this shaft does very well. (additionally, i put three tape wraps under my right hand.) However, i adjusted my Titleist 910 D3 to 10.25 degrees from 9.5 to get the launch and carry combo i was looking for.  I believe that an 8.5 may be too low of a launch but that all depends on the person. I played 8.5 degree drivers for years and have only recently gone to the 9.5 as the technollogy is changing.
Bottom line is that it is a great shaft that WILL help eliminate the left, but be weary if putting in a low lofted head unless you have some serious swing speed.
Hopefully this helps some as i now feel as though i am rambling on. Good luck to you.

I have the F3 80g shaft in my Burner Superfast 2.0 TP 3-wood.  This is the best shaft I have ever played in a fairway wood.  The shaft has a nice boring trajectory, but not too low.  I am flying this club 250-260 off the tee with roll up to 285-290.  I have the Superfast 10.5 with a F1 and I like the F3 better.  I have a driver swing speed of 98-104 and I've never hit a 3-wood this far.  Great shaft!!!

after a few weeks of testing, it came down between the Kai'li and F3 for me. just order a 910d3 9.5* w/ a Motore F3 60g stiff. getting 11* launch angle. 2800's spin, and 163 ball speed.

I don't mean any offense here...

But...

you swing 98-104 mph with driver, which translates to about 92-98 mph with a 3 wood, and you want us to believe that you carry a 3 wood 260 and roll to 290?  Guys on tour swing faster than that and don't hit it that far.  Either your numbers are a little off, or your swing speed is faster than you think it is...

Anyone who hits a 3 wood 290 yards has some pretty serious swing speed buddy.
