Saw today in Golf Magazine he has his driver cranked up to 11.25* of loft. That's gotta be as high or higher than most guys on tour

Saw the Golf WITB....hits the old 07 x ball and has x flex wedge shafts.  Off subject, did anyone read the snippet with the Jhonny Vegas swing pics?  His coach claims he can hit 135 SS if he wants...has it in reserve! :man_in_love:

Watching "on the range" on GC and apparently nick dropped the GD for something else. They didnt say what shaft he put in just that it wasnt anything new and was available last year. Anyone know what it is?

On todays broadcast of the accenture matchplay dottie pepper mentioned nick has lost 20 yards in his driving distance since last year or the year before. Seems like an awful lot of yardage to lose.

Hes 10th on the PGA Tour in 2012 in ball speed with an average of 175.12 mph.  Last year he was 11th at 174.82 so it sounds to me like hes just fine and there is something else going on behind the actual driving distance numbers.

I didn't check to see if he switched from the TI X100's to Project x shafts in his Irons, but he definitely changed his grips.  He used to have the red and black NDMC and now he has the new white and blue NDMC grips.

Well going by the numbers you posted it doesnt seem possible for him to have lost that many yards, maybe he is just using his 3wood or becoming more conservative off the tee.
