His ball looks like something out of NASCAR. I don't look forward to the day when the network camera closes up on a ball at the Masters and we see a Burger King logo just as it falls into the cup.
As for the painter's hat with the ears tucked in.... wouldn't touch that with a steek.
Hilarious!

We caught up with Rickie this week as he prepared to compete in the Frys.com Open and got a close-up look at what’s in his bag. As you can see from the images in the photo gallery, Rickie’s bleeds OSU orange in tribute to his former college golf team. That’s what we call custom paint! Here are the specifics on Rickie’s Titleist equipment:
Ball:
Pro V1x
Driver:
909D2 (7.5°) – Mitsubishi Diamana White 73X
Hybrid:
585.H (17°) – UST Mamiya Proforce V2 Hybrid 104X
Irons:
MB (4-9) – True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 (standard length, lie angle 1° upright, 4-iron loft 2° strong, 5-iron loft 1° strong, other lofts standard)
Wedges:
Vokey Design 248-06 (bent to 47°) – True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 (standard length, lie angle 1° upright)
Vokey Design 254-10 (bent to 53°) – True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 (standard length, lie angle 1° upright)
Vokey Design Spin Milled 60-L (bent to 59°) – True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 (standard length, lie angle 1° upright)
Putter:
Scotty Cameron Circle-T Prototype
Grips:
Golf Pride Tour Velvet cord – 1+1, logo underneath

Tour players put this or that in their bag all the time; but doing what Ricky's doing does beg the question why is he throwing it at the media, there by throwing it in Titleist's face. Ricky's good but he's not good enough to test a major sponsor like Titleist, least IMO.

He does not have a 14 club contract (He still has 12 Acushnet clubs in the bag btw). How is he throwing anything in Titleist's face? In 9 events as a pro, he has 2 top 5's, 4 top 10's, and more than 1.4 million in earnings. He does a great job repping his brand, and has since he was one of the finest amateurs on the planet.

+1 no idea what hes talking about. Looks like Rickie has changed up the woods and hybrids a little bit recently. Last time he was in contention he had the Cobra Pro 3 wood, 585H 17 and Pro Black 20...so hes switched to a 909 series 3 wood, and 2 Pro Blacks?

He is playing the IDEA Pro Blacks. I Tivo'd the Phoenix open and went back and examined the hybrid. They did a close up - it's an Adams with a 909h headcover. WITHOUT A DOUBT.
And believe me, Acushnet thinks they have the next Tiger Woods in Rickie Fowler - Bet on it. They certainly are betting on him.

There's a thread all about this...he obviously wasn't comfortable with the shot...why I don't know.
