Talk to the long time reps and the true gearheads and try to find someone that will discount Miura forgings. You will hear from the insiders of the golf business Miura is one of the best forgings ever made. Here are some of the best of the best...

-----------------

Miura's forging techniques rearrange the molecular structure of the mild steel in a pattern that is uniform throughout the club head. This eliminates void spots in the club face. This process assures that every Miura club in your bag has the distance control, ball flight, spin, and feel that any golfer should demand.

This tightness in the grain structure of the metal is what gives Miura made clubs the controlled, soft feel that other manufacturers cannot achieve. Miura also uses a proprietary "spin welding" process to produce the industries' most consistent hosel. This unique procedure ensures that the bore depths and hosel heights are identical on every Miura made head and the shaft of every club will be perfectly centered.

Miura Tournament Blade 6 iron (Pro Spec)

Muira CB 202 6 iron (Pro Spec)

Features-

The evolution of the CB-202 began with the legendary CB-1005, our Japanese model with an international following.

This model evolved into the CB-201 which added a modified toe and a sole grind designed for North America. The CB-202 is the next generation. A perfectly executed act of subtle refinement.

CB-202 has a thinner topline with a slightly rounder toe to give it a sleeker look. Also new are some minor adjustments to the sole and leading edge to improve playability. The result: A beautiful cavity-back with a blade like ball flight and better playability.

Miura Satin Wedge - Series 1957 "Y" and "C" Grinds

“Special Grind” by Yoshitaka Miura

The special grind on this wedge was done by Yoshitaka Miura, himself a master craftsman after more than 20 years of training under his father, Katsuhiro Miura at the family forging facility in Himeji, Japan. The ‘Y’ on the sole not only represents Yoshitaka’s mark on the club, but also signifies the special and limited production of this club.

The Miura family's (Katsuhiro and his sons Yoshitaka and Shinei) research for the Series 1957 Y wedge included trips to North America and Europe to study a variety of playing conditions and turf structures. The family's goal was to create a wedge with the heal and toe relief that many golfers are now looking for, but at the same time not compromise the basic fundamentals of a high performance golf club. The challenge was to find the perfect balance between the heal and toe relief and the rolled trailing edge on the sole, which Yoshitaka has done. When this "special grind" is combined with the unique characteristics that separate Miura clubs from all others, such as density of grain structure, balance and feel, the result is a wedge that is eminently playable in a broad range of conditions. The feel and precision of the Series 1957 Y wedge can't be explained in words, it must be experienced to be understood.

It seems 1957 was not only a great year for European golfers to been born but a significant year for Japan as well. Beautiful looking clubs, very old school.

That would be the other way, A R9 B heads resembles a Miura.

Thanks Easy for warming up the tour/preview forum as we head into December! Time for a Miura emoticon!

Pretty fair bet, both irons will still be in the line up 12 months from now even though they are adding the 501's

I've ALWAYS felt that these were the cleanest and best looking irons made.

If only they were as easy to hit as Pings!

But you must pay (by giving up TONS of forgiveness - even in the CBs) to play irons that good-looking, and as beautiful as these irons are, I will always choose lower scores.....and my ugly Pings!

I have 2 sets. In bag, 202s back up 102s. who ever thinks they are hard to hit hasnt hit them. they are no harder than any other club. they are the best clubs ive ever hit, seen....... they just LOOK like no other. I said i have two sets; everyone thinks they are so expensive and they are. they Will end up saving me money in the long run because I have too much in them and will not be ho'ing either set. they are 170 per club and feel too good to get rid of.

The baby blades are sweet but have too much toe. They should extend the grooves out more to even out the club.

Thanks for the pictures.

My 37s are nearing the end. It will be a toss up between the Miura TBs and the new MP68s as replacements. Looking forward to the trial.

They are awesome!

Having had Tour issue irons for the last couple of years. Including Nike Miura Blades. Back to T Blades and a 301, plus the new Wedges. You cannot beat straight Miura clubs, they feel that good..

Beautiful clubs. The muscle backs looks an awful lot like the Nicklaus Muirfield Blades. Wonder if they were forged by Miura?
