Didn't mens colognes go out of style with the gold chain and members only jacket?

That's what I was wondering...

I'm pretty sure it was at roughly that time.

Ralph Lauren Purple Label is a great cologne that gets lots of compliments and is one of the only few I use. I do not however wear cologne on the course. I think it attracts bugs

I wear cologne every day because I'm a man. But sometimes I want to smell like a different type of man. So I wear cologne, because I'm a man. heheh. Just kidding, none of that old spice mess for me.

I don't use any type of after shave, or perfumed lotions. My wife buys the colognes that she likes, and that is what I wear. I don't put a lot on though, and I think that is key. You'd have to be really close to smell it. :friends:  As for Axe body spray  :stinker: ... :nono:

That's a good point but as long as you don't over do it I don't think it's a problem. But that's just me.

I wear cologne, I'm surprised that there are a number of members of the forum who seem to be against it.

I shower twice a day and normally put cologne on in the mornings and also in the evenings if I am going out and I always wear an anti perspirant deodorant and apply this after I shower.

I have a fiancee who appreciated my cleanlyness, I'm not a metrosexual but I try to keep my personal hygene up to a reasonable level.

Maybe it is just living in a hot environment, but I feel that if I don't shower twice a day it is offensive to those around me.

I understand it can be offensive to wear too much, I try to make sure I don't overdo it.

Just for the reccord I like the following scents- Issye Miyake Pour Homme, Hugo Boss Dark Blue, Kenzo and Essentia Di Zegna

I don't wear cologne, never have, just regular deodorant. However, if I'm going into the clubhouse or a restaurant to have something to eat a drink after golf and I don't have time to take a shower or don't have a change of clothes with me, I'll put on some body spray to mask the sweat a bit.

wow, i'm fairly surprised at the amount of guys who don't use any kind of cologne. myself i use a few sprays of burberry every day after i shower, i've heard no complaints what so ever.

as for golf, most of my rounds are early in AM after a long night out so i try not to smell like the brewery i was just visiting, but i avoid using cologne, mostly just spray deodorant.

as an aside, if you're relying on axe body spray, the jersey shore called and they want their blow out and ed hardy t-shirt back.

I am 16, but off the course (and out of school) i wear Kenneth Cole "Reaction". It smells good, and I only take 1 spray (maybe 2 if its something special) as to make sure i don't over do it.

I am pretty surprised at how many men dont wear cologne.

Played 18 with someone who apparently loved his cologne or axe spray, not sure what it was but all I know is that he put on way too much and I had to aim for the opposite side of the green from him and always stay up wind.

I use just a shot of Bod Man spray.  I remember when I first started using it -  aside from complimenting the scent, my wife raised a suspicious eyebrow.  Seems to make the better half more attentive to taking care of biz at home.

Haha well stated

I don't see why you wouldn't.  Two sprays on the neck and one on the wrist can't go wrong.

Most men's cologne isn't nearly as strong as women's perfume.

I wear a bit of cologne, but never to the golf course.

I'm a Creed man, prefer Green Irish Tweed.  Expensive, but you should use so little that it doesn't really matter.
