I wear cologne from time to time. I don't bathe myself in it, a quick spray on the wrist and I'm good to go.

I have never been into cologne. When I was younger and single, I wore Mennen Speedstick deodarant. I used to go to a country music night club that always had great live music, cold beer and attractive women (the more I drank). Several times while slow dancing, women would ask what cologne I was wearing! It embarrased the hell out of me to tell them it was my deodarant!

hmmm...there are those that need it even on the course.  I'd rather smell cologne than body odors.  What's worse is that they usually don't know they stink.

Recently added a new one to the collection...Prada amber pour homme...it doesnt smell like your typical cologne...its smells "soapy" like you just stepped out of the shower. Good stuff for anyone not wanting to offend!

Sure do wear it, I think the thing is not to over do it (like everything really!)

Offensive cologne is cologne that has been overdone, it doesn't matter how "nice" the fragrance is.

As for on the course, I'll wear it wherever I want to make sure I have a nice "aroma" so to speak. I think it is less offensive even if I do overdo it than any type of body odour.

I wear cologne on days I do not shave.  My  Shave products (Portland General Store - Whiskey wet shave and aftershave) smell awesome so I don't double it up.  I typically don't put it on when on the course though.  Golf days it's deodorant and go.  The face lotion I use has some SPF in it and has a faint smell (Jack Black double duty Face Moisturizer w/ SPF20).

But I do love my Creed Green Irish Tweed and Jack Black Blue Mark or Black Mark depending on how I'm feeling.

I think my experiment with Creed Aventus is over.  I'm just more a Green Irish Tweed kind of guy.  I've got an 85% full bottle of Aventus if anyone is interested (for a price of course) or a trade for Green Irish Tweed?

I currently wear Dolce & Gabbana The One. I put it on in the morning or when I get out of the shower, after shaving. One spray is all I get and I don't re-apply during the day, especially if I am headed for a round of golf.

The smell of cologne gives me a headache but it is great for attracting bugs on the golf course!!!!

Gucci by Gucci is what I wear and have only gotten compliments on how good I smell , mostly from gorgeous women, so I see no reason to stop...  for all those saying that cologne is to strong, why don't you put down the AXE and spray 1-2 sprays of real cologne? You may be surprised how much the ladies appreciate a man who smells good.
