I have no proof, but I'm 99% positive I saw him using a Rapture iron at a tournament earlier this year. I think it was a long iron. Anyone else see this?

Looks like Lee's keeping the same setup this year.

yesterday he posted on Twitter

Quote

Just swapped everything over to a new golf bag. Something still exciting about doing that. Ready and excited for year 18!

Old bag going to charity. Where should I clip the sponge ball washer and  tee holder to on this bag? No new clubs. These are working fine!

when the Jz shaft first came out it was Stiff only.Lee has never played Regular Flex  but rather the "regular" or normal jz that was issued by ping.

I  agree though after watching him this week live at the course he is  very strong through the ball and could play  X shafts without issue.

I believe he has tried all the other players PXs  Tour Issues etc and prefers his softer  JZs.

Everything in that set-up is easy on the eyes and the i10's are highly underrated (I'm sure Westwood would agree!)

Anybody know if he changed his set up at all last week?  Wondering if he is gaming any of the i20 line.

I really like that he is keeping gear in the bag that he knows works for him. Don't see too much of that these days. Does PING give pros more latitude with that kind of thing?

In short, yes; they long have done. They know that a player up atop a leaderboard with what 90% of the watching public will assume to be the latest kit in the bag is better than a player struggling to adjust to the supposedly latest and greatest equipment that's being pushed upon them and performing poorly as a consequence.

Billy Foster wont let westy put the i20's in the bag as they both know exactly how far he hit the i10's.Dont think we'll see any changes to lee's bag until after the pga championship. With all the majors come up fast to change now would be dumb.unless his a secret WRX'er???

They really are! Still can't believe he hasn't moved onto something else though especially the s56 which are an incredible iron in their own right.

I love that he is still rocking that g10 driver and i10 irons. That line of clubs was ahead of its time. G10 still one of my favorite big sticks ever. Might have to get a  9 with PLR here soon.
