I am coming over in a group in March and we are trying to finalise the courses we are playing. We have eight days and so far it looks like:

Mission Inn (both courses)
Orange County (both courses)
Championsgate (both courses)
Metrowest
Royal St Cloud
Harmony
Deer Island

Was wondering if you thought Juliette falls is a good option. seen a deal to play it in March for $42 each which seems very good. I know it is over an hour away from Orlando but we are quite happy to drive for a decent course at a good price.

Also I was wondering if there was anyway of playing the Quarry course at Black Diamond even if no-one is a member or a guest of a member?

We are trying to have a blend of courses that do not break the bank.

We had also hope to have a match against a club side need florida but i had not got any responses from a couple of emails i sent out. There is 6 hopefully 8 of us coming from Scotland with handicaps from +1 to 5. If you know of anyone that might be up for a mini ryder cup game then I would love to hear from you. We all enjoy golf and thought it would be great to have a little game to have some banter against the locals on one of the days.

Thanks

well I've played juliette falls for a us am qualifier and one other time and I think it's a fun track. coquina shell cart paths in the shape of fw bunkers plus they built up water features(waterfalls) on like 4 holes that look great. Otherwise, you have plenty of holes that are very quiet, secluded and 'woodsy'. Conditions should be pretty good all over. Doesn't get alot of play since it's somewhat of a drive from civilization but I'd say well worth it. Pretty unique experience all the way around and the service should be excellent. Another one at a comparable distance in the same direction as J.F. from Orlando is Golden Ocala. It has great original holes plus it's known for it's replica holes. Terrific condition and great service. I play deer island quite often and it's very demanding all the way around but plays only 6800 or so from the tips. All 3 of them are difficult but your group shouldn't have a problem. Just bring extra balls for Deer island.
