I have been enjoying coverage of the Australian Masters, and particularly enjoying Kingston Heath golf club. Wow what a great golf course. The bunkering in particular looks fantastic, and the green complexes look challenging but fair.
Has anyone played this beauty? What are your impressions.

Awesome course. If you're playing well you are well rewarded. If you're not playing well, then you'll know it. Couch fairways where you just cannot hit a fairway wood fat. Carpet! Unwatered rough allowing you to play a shot without breaking your wrists. Slick greens that hold a well-struck fairway shot but any mis-hit is a goner. Bunkering with naturally compacted sand with minimal chance of getting a buried lie and most balls feed in to the flat bottom of the trap. Oh wait a sec. I've just described every one of the 15 or so courses in Melbourne's sandbelt!
