hoboken for me, so we are really close.  But I currently dont have a car which makes getting to a course a bit of a process ha.

Which course do you play at in the North Jersey?

I play all over really, anywhere from westchester to the jersey shore.  My usual tracks include Blue Hill in Orangeburgh NY (by my parents house), Hackensack Country Club (when I can get on with my buddy who is a member) and occasionally River Vale country Club (also by my parents house, and has good twilight rates in the summer).  Other than that I enjoy going down to the colts neck area where there is some pretty good golf.  Pebble Creek down there was always a favorite of mine.  I recently played the Links at Union Vale, which was a great course, but a bit of a trip.

Eatontown- south of Red Bank, west of Long Branch.

As was mentioned, Pebble Creek is a nice course in Colts Neck, as well as all the Monmouth County courses.

Well I live near you in Jersey City and play all over. We should meet up and play sometime and I do have a car if you need a ride no worries.

I moved to Rockland Co. about 1.5 years ago (right near Mahwah, NJ and Ramsey, NJ) but lived in Harmon Cove Towers in Secaucus for about 3 years. I mainly play at Spook Rock GC in Ramapo, NY...but I have a car and play with a few friends at northern NJ courses as well (Ballyowen, Wild Turkey, Crystal Springs, etc.)

Anyone in the "across the bridge from philly" area? I am about 20 mins. northeast of Philadelphia, along the Delaware River. Looking for more people to play with this year.

Mercer County but I am a member at a Golf Club in Old Bridge, So i play a lot of golf in Middlesex & Monmouth Co.

I played Pebble Creek in October in a charity tournament and it seemed fine.  Nothing fantastic to write home about, but it wasn't that bad.

Do you play the county municipal courses?  When I'm short on time I'll get in a quick 9 or 18 at Bel Aire in Wall, otherwise I'll play at Shark River in Neptune.

Good to see I'm not the only one out there with golf on the brain when the mercury has averaged in the 20's & 30's for as long as I can remember.
New to WRX but, I'm hoping to get more varied play in for 2010.
I have a group of about 6 irregulars that I play with but rarely do we get all of our schedules together to round out a full foursome. Please post any "need a 4th" or "need 2" messages here & I'll do the same.
I mostly book Bergen County courses for their resident budget friendliness but, I'll road trip here & there every now & again.

Monmouth county here. Glenwood, Hominy and Charleston are my usual tracks.

Bergen County. Play mostly in the northern hemisphere of the state, including New York. Like: River Vale, the munis (rarely available), Blue Hill (with some Rockland buds). A little farther north - Patriot Hills. Also do Sussex and Somerset courses on occasion.

I'm in Morris County. I play the county courses WAY too much, but venture up to Ballyowen & out to Architects a couple of times a year.

Anyone living in (or near) Bergen County know a good simulator facility? Preferably within an hour car ride to get there from Paramus

I have not been there, but you might want to look at the Hoboken Golf simulators (www.hobokengolf.com).

I have a car so a ride is not a problem...

There is a place in Hoboken called Hoboken Golf that has a decent simulator at a pretty cheap price...

I normally play at rutgers but I will travel all over the state just let me know...

Mercer county for me, play Mercer Oaks, Mountainview, been at Miry Run for 26 yrs. Lots of private clubs around here & I know members at all of them.

Are the simulators usually occupied? Like.. do I have to call before I go there? It's a 40 minute drive from my house, but it's the closest simulator place and the price is decent

LOVE_NaYeonChoi, there is a good range in Tappan NY by exit 5 on Palisades Pkwy.  They have 5 bays with Trackman devices that you can use to hit balls.
