Has anyone used Bridgestone's e6+? I just bought two dozen and am wanting to know the pros and cons of these balls. I've heard you will lose some yardage using these balls. thank-you

Pro - Goes straight, Low Compression, Great distance

Con - not much greenside spin

I constantly keep going back to this ball especially for scrambles because it allows me to gain a couple of extra yards and keep it in the short grass at the same time.

I've gravitated to these again this past season - straight, not too clicky on the putter and really does negate sidespin with noticeable effect. Definitely not the best spinner (i rarely see *any* check on greenside chips) but if you value playing out of the fairway they are hard to beat (16 HCP).

There is a new version for 2010 that's reverted back to E6 (no +) and has different graphics. Apparently even more improved.
I graduated from E5+ to these and I have nothing but praise for Bridgestone now.

But definately two thumbs up for these.

It is nice and soft off the putter.

I played them the past 2 years... Love them ... Only complaint (if it is) would be up and downs with wedges around the greens... But flies great... I switch this year to the Pro V and Nike One Tour, but bang for the buck I love what Bridgestone offers

I personally didnt see a major difference... With that being said I saw improved distance with the two premium balls that I used this year... But if your comparing non premiums, then Bridgestone and Srixon (ad333) is the best...IMO

I currently play the e6+ but was wondering if there is any difference between these and the new e6 balls currently on the Bridgestone site.

The original e6 was my favorite low-compression ball, but didn't care for the e6+..... much too "lively" around the green. As reported by Bridgestone C.S., the cover was changed to improve durability. IMHO, they ruined a good ball. No experience with the newest e6. Find it interesting that they went back to the original non-plus designation.

The biggest pro and con is the same thing.... low spin. Great off the driver, alright into a green with a full shot with a little rollout, and not good at all if you're used to getting pitches/chips to bite. Fine if you're a bump and runner...

It does what it says. But i find the Top Flight D2 strait does the same thing and is better off the wedge/irons and a lot less money.
