I really like the looks of the PING bags, but i can't seem to put them on right, they always feel funny with the dual strap system, as opposed to the backpack style. Does the retractable strap go on your right or left shoulder?

It goes on your right shoulder. Make sure you adjust the straps to where the bag sits where it is comfortable when you have both straps on. Having a friend do this for you works really well.

I am sure you just need to mess with it a little bit, I have never found mine uncomfortable

Tried the latitude V2 on today and once adjusted it is a really comfortable bag, probably going to replace the SQ tour with the ping

Are you sure you don't have it on backwards? :) jk

but never heard of an uncomfortable ping bag. But I've have much success messing with the straps attached t the bag itself rather than the adjustable ones on the straps. good luck!

I just got a ping 4 under and it is the most comfortable I have ever worn by a long shot.

IMO the dual strap system is way better than the backpack, both in comfort and easy of use.
