We all know that the golf Gods are fickal and very punishing when we abuse our sticks. So in front of you all my brothers and sisters of golfwrx.com I am formally apologizing to my clubs. After my second to last round which was like I had never played before. I was ready to sacrifice them to the HOing addiction that I have. I decided to hold on and give them one more shot and they brought me home to a nice 38 on a rushed 9 holes after work in New England. Plus we all know that it was really the indian and not the arrows. Anyhow this is just a nonsensical thread that may get a few laughs because you may have gone down this road as well one day.

Shame on you :nono: And they were nice enough to treat you to a 38, during Nov. while in New England the next round. The nerve...

This is why some of us ho's own multiple sets. If one of them behaves badly, they get the basement treatment and another set gets it's day in the sun.

Where in New England? I'm from Southeastern MA.

Just an FYI My clubs (all of them) are like New England weather great one day and you are really never sure what to expect the next... ;)

I find the basement treatment only makes the clubs bitter at the end of the day. Positive reinforcement and hope realy help the most :-)

Well I won't ask what your basement treatment entails, but mine produces club jealousy and the desire to perform. It's always amazing to me that my clubs have a renewed "feel" and performance after they've been sitting in a corner to think about the misery they put me through.

Those clubs that became bitter were eventually sold off which produced 2 outcomes. 1. It got rid of the problem child. 2. It made the other clubs realize that the bitter treatment won't work.
