Great video Jeff!

One of the biggest things for me to learn in gripping the club Homer Kelley's way was getting my left thumb "aft" of the shaft rather than on top. That was definitely not how I was taught, but was huge to me in better ball striking. That extra support feels so solid!

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi jeff thanks for the vid. I have the pure ball striker but constantly struggle on how
to place my hands on the club. Can you teach me how you make the club with the sweet spot plane
like in your video? Thanks for your help.

This video confirms the grip I am trying to move to. I have recently come to the conclusion that I've been coming over the top and a part of this is a weak grip, leading to a right shoulder too far forward. I am currently working toward a stronger grip(jeez it feels odd) and when I look in the mirror it looks exactly like yours in the video, so you've confirmed that I'm going in the right direction...... thanks for posting.

now if I can just stop pulling left..........

Sounds like if you just fix the path, you're on your way to better golf :)

Great video, Jeff!

Oh baby...I just bought one of these bad boys on Sunday...now you've provided these videos? This wasn't all for me right??!?!?!

In all seriousness, I'm very amped to give the PBS a whirl when I receive it in a couple of days. I know for a fact I've lagged the hosel for years and although I could hit it a mile, the club shaft would steepen like crazy at impact and I would hit those heely fades (that sicken me) or those snappers. I couldn't release the club properly (hands way too far in front of the ball at impact) and I know by sensing the sweetspot plane I'll be more inclined to create and sustain the line of compression. Thanks for posting Jeff!

Jeff,
On your inclined plane, are you swinging on the elbow plane or one of the shoulder planes without shifting?

We have it set on the Turned Shoulder Plane Angle with zero shift.

Video describes it as a pull...wouldn't right arm extensor be better described as a push?

Pushing the right hand away from the shoulder/into top of left thumb?

Or am I misinterpreting?

Pushing with the right arm which pulls the left arm straight. :drinks:

Don't think you are misinterpreting it maybe what you feel.

Pull or Push

It's how it was described to me by the guy who educated me in yellow book.

No matter, whatever words describe your feel.

Not sure about the horse thing, though.

Sure it could be all about feel.

Mechanics to Feel and play the Feel.

The horse thing when I asked him he just looked at me.

I went to Mike Perpich last year and he's definitely a good instructor but he's pretty expensive ($150 a pop) and very tough to book. I'm going to try Ted Fort this year.

Good Choice!

Or you could drive down to Macon and see Jeff Evans! This is what I plan on doing as soon as I find the time. Jeff, how about a package deal for some WRX members for a 1 day "clinic"?

Ok here is the deal!

One Day Golf Clinic Pure Ball Striker System

Minimum 8 GOLFWRX Members Wanted for an ONE DAY Golf Clinic.

Eight Hours of instruction and demonstration with hands on attention.

Value $699 USD but GOLFWRX Member Clinic Price $300 USD

Who is interested? PM me or email at jeff@pbstriker.com

We need a minimum of 8 members.

Date: TBA (Maybe Week of Thanksgiving)

Where: Houston Lake Country Club in Perry, GA

Great price and wonderful opportunity. I wish I lived within driving distance!

Kevin

Thanks Kevin,

Price is great but it has to do with the value.

Included will be the sweeetspot club, incline plane, Pure Ball Striker, and many others about 20 in total.

Look for it soon on Pure Ball Striker Website
