First post, I've been a caddy at an upscale country club near a major metropolitan area for 11 years now, starting when I was very young, due to rough economic times my PGM degree isn't yielding much so I'm looping again after college. Ask Away.

why arent you caddying on the pga or nationwide tour if you once caddied for tiger, i mean wouldnt that make you a sought after caddie to say that tiger has trusted you with his bag?

No need to bury them, they survived.

Hahaha burying the survivors in a cemetary would probably get you arrested.

So caddyman why don't you elaborate on these secret rounds you speak of.

I think it would be difficult to have a secret round without anyone noticing, the grounds are usually quite busy.

When you are first learning a course, what things do you look for to help your player negotiate the course better?

Why are some caddies on Tour such arrogant d0uchebags that they feel the need to remove their apron before their golfer has completed their round?

Do you have any tricks to help your golfer get the round back on track?

Funniest story from a loop?

Best identifier of a good golfer?

When first learning a course, the most important thing i have found is to identify where the drainage is on each green.

Funniest story from a loop may take a while to think of but recently a fellow caddy at my club "withdrew" on the fifth hole and i carried four bags the rest of the round. there have been multiple player and caddies hit with balls a few humorous animal encounters, a few wives coming to the club screaming at their husbands on the course etc. I will try to think of a good one after my coffee.

Best tip was making 1100 for a three day member guest, individually round was 350 forecaddie for a member and three guest. typically bag is 60-80 a round.

If you don't think the most dominant player in history possesses the ability to play a round of golf that nobody knows about, you will not survive the crash.

First of all calm down dude. You are getting way to bent out of shape. People are just having a little fun with you. Second it sounds like you are trying to be this all in one answer guy and that has just made people push your buttons even more. You give us little bits of info like you caddied for Tiger and he was a jerk. Well most people on here would like to hear about that story (even the people that dont care for Tiger) rather than where the water drains on a green.

And if you look back, this is kind of a weird topic out of the blue "Ask a caddy anything" Heck I could have put that up and nobody would know the difference. I don't think you are lying i'm just saying it's a little strange. If you notice the first responses were a jab at you and then there were some legit questions. So again relax enjoy the day and answer the legit questions and poke a little fun at yourself at the same time.

Best identifier of a "good player" is if they have a ping golf bag with dual straps and what they hit off the tee on a 360 yard par 4. Best identifier that it will be a long day is having a v*****, iron head covers, their name on their bag, or blades when they are not a 5 capper or lower.

haha wtf dude, you determine how good ppl are by the type of bag they have?

Are you drunk or on some type of drugs? I hope so, otherwise you have completely lost it. This is definitely one of the most worthless threads posted in quite a while. Should make for some good entertainment on a Monday though until it gets locked.

C'mon mat. You know it was Rumours. Although they should have used spell check. Not sure where that second 'u' came from. :drinks:

Of course it's Rumours. You know it. I know it.

But the OP did ask; and you never know what those folks with their dual-strapped Ping Hoofers might have got the lad thinking when it comes to opinions on the 70s supergroups.

1). Have you ever knowingly improved the lie of your players ball?
2). Have you ever knowingly stepped on an opponents ball?
