It seems like in big tournaments for the past year or so he plays ok for 3.5 rounds and then fades badly towards the end. I was there at Pinehurst last year when he had that last day meltdown.

I know he is still one of the best in the world( # 3, I think) but I'd like to see him win again.

ya it seems like hes to tense on the back nine sunday every ones tense but he seems really tense

yea i dunno whats up...the wachovia was the first tournament where ive seen him actually show some emotion while playing too, it was weird.

That day at Pinehurst had to damage the Sunday nerves a little. It can take awhile to get over something like that, but I think that Goosen will win again sooner than later.

Actually he did win a couple of months after last year's Pinehurst meltdown at the International in Colorado. But I agree he's had a couple of Sunday meltdowns in the past year that make you wonder if something is going on mentally where he's lost the edge he used to have in the final round.
