Anyways, I stopped playing the fame from 99 until 2005. Didn't touch a club. So it was a shocker when I cam back and couldn't hit the ball well, or god forbid hit a sand shot.
I have been practicing alot over the last 18 months and have hit a wall, and didn't understand why. I went and saw a "name" teacher, and he was absolutely no help whatsoever. Just told me my leg was pointing in the wrong direction.
I saw another teacher, and he was helpful, but really did not teach the better player. So I thought I was going to be out of luck.
Finally did some research, talked to some people and interviewed a few teachers and came upon Jason Jett.
He got me. Understood what I was looking to acomplish and he interviewd me before we began. He had me hit a few shots, then put me on video. YIKES!!!! Not good.
Gave me a couple of drills to work on, and I am actually starting the ball on line for the first time, maybe ever. No more coming over the top, better wedge play and contol of the shot pattern. In one lesson.
Needless to say I am going to get more from him, and hopefully he will continue to see me. lol
I know he may not be a "name" teacher in the area, but he is very good at what he does.
