Best cart cover

Most if not all of the cart covers I have seen have zippers. I'm thinking magnets would be the best for easy in and out as well as easy club access. Are there covers with these? Whether or not, are some covers better than others, and if so, which ones and why?
All info appreciated.

It does have zippers...but they are a higher grade than the cheapo cart covers out there. Additionally, this one has a windshield that unzips in the middle and you can roll it back...so you are looking through the cart windshield and not the plastic....which is hard to see through.
I did hear about a guy who took his cart cover to a boat cover manufacturer and had them put marine zippers on it.....seems a little overkill, as I do not have a problem with the zippers on this manufacturer's cover.

As much as magnets sound good for access, they will not seal the cover so that fridge air stays out. With high quality zippers that's not the case. You might consider what I did. Check with other club members that own carts and see who had a custom cover made. After research that's the route I went and was very pleased.
Even on those fridge early mornings I had friends flipping coins to see who rode in my cart; even without a heater. A properly fitted custom cart keeps the cold air out, and body heat in the cart. One area to notice is above the windshield where the window typically flips down. On most carts there's a 1/2" gap. Another is next to the roof stanchions on the front side of the cart and behind the seat. I had clear plastic window installed in the ball which allowed access to the clubs, and snaps every 6" with Velcro under the edges. I choose the same high grade zippers I had on my boat covers.

I don't own a golf cart, I play at a variety of local courses. I'm in North Carolina, so the temperatures I'm looking to play in are 40's and 50's, not lower, so I don't feel like I need perfect thermal protection, just something that cuts the chill.
Hopefully, I'll post followup.

I had it custom made by a local guy near Palm Springs, CA. At the time he did a number of covers for people I know in the area. I had my cart delivered to him for two weeks for fitting. He did a wonderful job. It started as something for him to do while retired. He became so popular he was overwhelmed with business.
It's nothing compared to those you see in golf magazines, and NO, it's not permanently attached. It was attached using the same SS snaps, heavy duty vinyl, marine eisenglass for windows, heavy duty zippers and marine quality stitching used on my salt-water boat, only grey instead of white. Two side doors were made of eisenglass that rolled up and held in place by Velcro straps. It took 10 mins to install and less to take off. I do have a few pics but not on the computer, sorry.

The magnets are not a bad idea but the zippers really work better. With a good cover that fits your specific cart, the zippers work great. BTW, you can get a cover that fits a cart with a windshield...basically does not have the clear piece in the front but I would not recommend it myself. I have had windshields on my carts and I still like the cover with the windshield piece on it. You can just leave the windshield down and visibility is good.
