What would be a good ball to use off the tee in 50 degree weather? I normally use a pro v x. Thank you

Go with Pro V1. Lower compression, go back to x in summer.

I have found the Wilson Zip 302 and Fifty Elite are really nice cold weather balls. I also like the TM Burner TP. The Callaway Diablo is very soft, but it does not provide much spin around the greens.

50 degrees is not cold and will not make your golf ball feel like a rock.

Wilson Zips. $15.00 a dozen. A good ball in any climate but expecially when it cools off.

I beg to differ yes 50 is not that cold and will not make the golf ball itself feel hard but you need to also take into account the shaft the clubhead and stiffer muscles that will be more sensitive to the vibration.

The Srixon website indicates that the Trispeed has lower compression than the Softfeel. By any chance, do you know the compression ratings on both balls?

I normally play the Bridgestone B-330-S. I played in a tournament this weekend, cool 50s, rainy, sort of unpleasant.... The Bridgestone IIRC is one of the higher compression balls out there, and its just felt a bit harsher than normal. I switched to the TM Red, not a real soft "soft" ball, but felt much better than the B-330-S to me.... When its real cold, about 40ish, I will go with the Nike Powersoft or something like that.....
