Hello. I own a pair of Nike golf shoes (Course Air Tour GT). I have always bought Nike as they usually give me the best fit when it comes to running shoes. The problem, for me anyways, is that most golf shoes are more shoes than golf! Most are uncomfortable toward the end of a round and my heel is never secured. Don't get me wrong, I like a good looking golf shoe. But, I want one with more golf in mind when it comes to fit and performance. Stability and comfort are the keys for me.

How are the adidas Tour360 3.0? By their description, they seem to answer my heel and comfort concerns. I wish my area stores carried it to try but, they don't. So, I may be forced to buy online to see if they work for me.

Thank you.

P.S. Sorry for posting in the wrong area!

Adidas golf shoes do not "fit" my well at all. My feet hurt and are mad at me when I wear them, so I donated them. Hopefully, they'll fit your feet well and will be the shoes you are looking for.

Don't know about Adidas, but you might want to give Puma a look. Extremely comfortable for me throughout the entire round...like wearing slippers.

Get some Ecco's and put in a good insole from New Balance or Superfeet. You can thank me later.

do you buy them from online without trying them on? My best advice to you would be to try them on. I've bought quite a few pairs from different brands and they were all very comfortable and i have a slightly wider feet

Man, I was looking at those. But, MSRP: $250.00 ?! Ouch! I guess quality costs.

I try on the company's closest model for the size. The only thing I can do if my area stores don't carry that model.

Big fan of the Adidas Powerband and Tour 360's. Very comfortable to walk in and they have a good life span.

I cant wear nikes either, they kill my feet.
I have the Adidas 360 tour 3.0 and they are great.Very comftable and great traction and supportive.
I rotate between those and my Ecco shoes which are also great.
I have an extra pair that are brand new if you are interested ( I also have new pair of Eccos in my closet in brown).
The Adidas in Black and silver 12 wide

I had to switch from Adidas to Ecco.

Adidas shoes shred up my feet until they're broken in. Ecco's don't do that to me.

I was thinking ECCO's ULTRA PERFORMANCE. They seem to offer more heel support which is my issue.

Just dumped my Addidas 360 3.0 due to terrible fit and pain when playing. Picked up some Footjoys and the difference is amazing

Try ECCO. You wont regret it. The most comfortable golf shoe i've ever owned. Great comfort from day one. Footjoy are a second ( and less expensive- except for Icons & Classics) alternative.

You cannot get Ecco via special order in wider sizing correct? They are very narrow shoes fyi. They look great, but when I tried to get them I was told no "special ordering" like you can def do with Footjoy. Can someone please verify, cause I love the looks, but cannot fit into them?

My 2002 Adidas Z-Traxion Tours are/were the best golf shoes ever made. I still have them and they are in decent shape. They fit my feet perfectly and are ultra comfy. Sadly, the quality of my newer Adidas golf shoes are not nearly as good as the older ones. Also Adidas changed their style and fit so not all models fit my feet whereas before a 11.5 M in any style would fit perfectly.

We have a lot of walkers at my club (like me) and the ones with Ecco brand shoes swear they are the most comfortable shoe made. I have never tried them. My wallet is too scared. Plus Ecco styling is a bit...odd. I may have to bite the bullet and try a pair. My old Adidas will die one day and my 27* other pairs golf shoes hurt my feet!

* Perhaps a bit of hyperbole.

I have the adidas tour 3.0 and love them. They were comfortable to me right away. But I had to get the wide size because they were tight and I don't normally wear wide.

I'm obviously biased but if you're looking for a golf shoe, give FootJoy a try. Golf is our only focus, it's what we know and what we wake up everyday thinking about. We make performance golf products for players of all shapes, sizes and abilities and have been the #1 shoe in golf for over 60 years because of this dedication. With the introduction this year of SYNR-G, FJ ICON and soon, FJ SPORT, we have even more products to fit your game, style preference and budget.

To your point about finding something for comfort and stability, my suggestion would be SYNR-G. According to recent force platform testing, it's the most stable golf shoe on the market and, with comfort features like memory foam around the collar and in the tongue, will give you the comfort (and precision fit) you're looking for as well. As with all FJ shoes, we offer a wide range of sizes and widths and there is a removable fitbed should you need an orthotic for your heel trouble. Worn by Padraig Harrington, Steve Stricker, Zach Johnson and many more, it has also been validated by some of the world's best players.

Thanks for your consideration. Please let me know if you have any questions about our products or golf shoes in general.
