ok so I know a lot of golfers are smaller in size but I am looking for golf shorts and pants like the Nike Dri-Fits or something like that in sizes 42 and 44. I am hoping to find some good stuff for several different big guys and I want them all the be the same brand.

I have not seen many dri-fits in 42 although I have seen them and I have never seen anything above that.

Does anyone know of someone who makes a nice pair of golf shorts and pants in these sizes?

Thanks

T

+1 to this.

I'm 44 and can't find a thing in the Dri-Fit, Cutter&Buck Dry-tech, Under Armour or any of the premium lines. I'd love to know as well. I've tried the alternative of getting down to a 40 and that seems just as hard :)

I am a 44 and have found the Haggar cool 18 pants and shorts to be very comfortable...Amazon.com has them and they are priced pretty well.

i wear a size 44, I have a couple pairs of callaway and dockers golf shorts.

Also you can get some "Club Room" shorts from Macy's usually on clearance this time of the year.

I find most of my stuff at Gabriel Brothers (Its like a TJ Max)

If there is a Khols near you, I have had good luck finding golf pants and shorts there (I am a 42). I think it was the Cool 18 I had. They were microfiber, and had the expandable waist, but it wasnt like an elastic waist, you would never know unless you were looking for it. I had them for a couple of years, and loved them. I finally just wore a hole in them, and have been trying to find some more.

Dillards.com has nice micro fiber shorts in their big & tall section, and they're all on sale now.

just a quick reply to my thread. I went to the local Van Husen(spelling sorry) outlet here today and got 2 pair or micro fiber shorts and 1 pair of pants. the prices were $48 for the pants and $42 for the shorts but the pants were 50% off and the shorts were 70% off so I got out with a steal! They fit perfect, are very light, and look very classy! All were in size 44 which is awesome! playing my first round in them today.

go get some guys!

Thanks for that heads up, I'll get over to our outlets as soon as I can.

To the poster who mentioned he found 42's at Kohls. That's the deal. You can find 42 EVERYWHERE, but that seems like the brick wall everyone stops at. It's like us 44's are lepers or something, almost as bad as left handers for clubs :)

It is true that I can find 42 in many places, but I cannot find 42 that fit hardly anywhere. I have big legs, and almost every pair of 42 I find is so tight in the legs that I cannot get them on. Perhaps it is because I am in Texas, and as they say, "everything is bigger in Texas", but even when I was a 44, I could find pants at Kohls. Ross as well. I've honestly never been to a big and tall store, although I'm sure I could find some better fitting pants at one.

Try being a 44 waist and a lefty!!!! Some times it is awesome because you can get deals on clubs that people are just trying to move but sometimes it is a pain in the neck!

6'6" here. Buy pants and have a tailor make them into shorts. I have done this, purchased pants at Costco. 12"-13" inseams work best for me.

I'm very much a lefty, and at one time was on the large side of a 44, so I certainly understand this.
