I know it was redesigned a few years ago. I worked there in the late 80s and early 90s. Before the remodel it had some good holes, but number 9 and 18 were terrible. It was pretty short back then too.
The GCC used to be the place to play in Greenville. I always liked Chanticleer, that was a good track.

I was a manager for Lowe's and lived in Greenville for most of the 1980's. Chanticleer was at one time in the late 80's rated no 55 out of the top 100 courses to play in the United States. Furman University has an excellent course also. I used to play Carolina Springs, Bonnie Brae, and Fox "something or other", quite a bit.
As an above poster, has stated work has been done on both courses. You had to really know someone there in Greenville to get on at Chanticleer, it was a really old school country club.
I loved living there, at one time there were 15 golf course in the Greenville County. More know I would say.
