Just wanted to give a shout out to the folks at golfbuddy,i purchased a Tour model on 9/12/09 i went to check on a course in Erie Pa that was not listed. I e-mailed golfbuddy on 9/15/09 this was the response i received. Talk about fast customer service.Golfbuddy is very easy to use and much more accurate than my previous unit :good:

I am glad that you enjoy the unit. Also I did confirm with my surveyor, he will be out mapping Whispering Woods tomorrow morning at 7:30 am and also FYI, Beachwood, PA will be mapped as well.

Thanks and have a wonderful evening.

Hope they continue with good service. When I had their unit, it worked great but there was 2 discrepancies regarding distances on my local courses. They never fixed it and I sold the unit because of their lack of support.

I hope they continue the support as well. I researched & researched and just went this route because the course where already pre-loaded. I think yardage wise it's 1-2 yards +/- with my unit i sold and my Bushnell rangefinder.

I wish my Golf Buddy worked that well. It keeps picking up the practice green on my home course instead of the actual green on #9.

I have a GB and am generally satisfied with it. However, my experience is that their CS is sh*t. Two unanswered emails and a phone call that even though they said they would call me right back, they never did. The weirdest thing is the person I was speaking with sounded as though they were in a supermarket at the time of the call.

My regular cart bud has had a golf buddy since the spring. It did not have 4 courses we play regularly. After multiple calls and emails he finally got two of them last week. I am glad your experience is better.
