Play the ball back in your stance, hit down on the ball with a square clubface and feel for the ball to compress against the face. As soon as you feel the ball begin to leave the clubface, turn the toe down The ball will go low and straight, then fall to the left at the end (for right handed people)
I love these kind of tips. Can't wait to try it myself.

Wow. Johnny increasing America's average handicap. That is such bad information it is hard to comprehend. Depending on how well you were able to "sense the ball begin to leave the club face" (which is ridiculous in itself) and turn the face over...the ball will already take off very low, start at the target (or left depending on your sense of the ball leaving) and then draw considerably.
I'll take Iteach's way. Basically how all good drawers of the ball get it done.

Trap draw? Play ball back, drive hard to left side on downswing, delay unhinging of wrists so hands are well closer to target at impact than clubhead to produce min. 8* descending angle of attack at impact (the "trap"), swing the clubhead on a path slightly rightward of the target line at impact, rotate clubface to a slightly closed position, relative to club head path, at impact.

Yup. I heard him explain the trap draw also. Sounded right to me.....But then.....I'm always "Odd Man Out" here on the forum. In addition to liking Kenny Perry, I also happen to like Johnny Miller. It appears that most here can't stand those two fellows, but I like them and I'm too old to be Brow Beaten into not liking someone I like!

I don't think he said anything about being square. I actually caught it when he said it. Didn't watch any of the TC. Doesn't matter though.
Logan, what do you think he was feeling to say or suggest something like that? Do you think that even though he might be deluding himself with BAD information that the shot doesn't come off the right way nevertheless?
Sometimes it may feel like that to me at times too......even though it may not be the REAL deal behind it. Make any sense?
Well I see a huge flaw in teaching an entire population how to do something based on how it feels to one person. Regardless, the ball will draw doing it Johnn's way (minus all the nonsense about ball sticking to the face timing) but the player must aim considerably right of target and the ball will go LOW. Pretty much unplayably low with any kind of longer iron.
