Which US market driver provides the closest "soft" feel of JDM drivers at impact, the feel some people describe as "the ball sucked on club face then get ejected"? Including Japanese brands selling in US market (Mizuno, Srixon, Bridgestone, etc.)

out of all the US drivers that i've tried, probably the callaway FT9. Much different feel and sound that the FT5 and decent performance.
In terms of japanese drivers, the epon af101 sounds and feels incredible. That will be next on my list for sure! Just have to save a few more $.

I still prefer the feel of the J33 over the X-drive 701 and 2007 X-drives....

i respectfully disagree...i feel like the R9 is a bit firm on the feel of the face...
