Yeah ... I played Augusta.  In 1992.  It was a once in a lifetime experience, and I'm sure that it won't ever happen again.  I was friends with a member there who passed away a few years back.

Kiawah Island.  This place is absolutely fantastic.  If you ever get ANY chance to play there, I'd highly recommend that you take advantage.

The Honors Course.  Not many people have ever even heard of this place.  Most difficult and exclusive course in the Chattanooga area.  My BIL is a member, and I still don't get to play it but about once a year.  It has hosted several Amateur events like the Walker Cup, State Am, and others.  Tiger played the US Amateur there and to this day he still says it was the toughest course that he's ever seen.

Kittansett, Indian Creek, Old Oaks, Spring Island...

Kittansett is in my hometown, probably the best course I have ever gotten the chance to play, Spring Island is a solid #2.

Gozzer Ranch and Crystal Downs  don't know how exclusive they are, but I sure felt like a king and didn't really see another group all day at either?

"The country club" - brookline country club - just stepping in the clubhouse was an amazing experience, they have kept it just like it was built over 100 years ago - no air conditioning or anything - multiple pictures of the greats who have played there "ouimet, ryder cup etc." It was something I will never forget - damn that rough and fescue though it ate me up!

im not sure if anyone here knows about Morefar.  Its a private course in my hometown.  Previously owned by AIG.  One of the most exclusive courses in the world.  They dont host more than 400 or 500 rounds a year, probably less.  Youd need to look it up to get more info.  Its one of the most mysterious places around.  Nobody really knows what they do there or who owns it.  There is also only one place you can see the course and its from across the state line in Connecticut from across a lake.

o Old Head (Ireland) - I think it beats Pebble Beach by a long shot and the only golf course I've ever seen that charges non-golfers to walk the course because it's just that perfect....crashing waves along a magnificent coast line...ck out the pics, it will blow your mind:http://oldhead.com/
o Hamilton Farms - great layout and the service is tremendous.
o Cap Cana in Dominican Republic - some claim this is better than Pebble as well and if you've never done a guys trip to DR and never played Cap Cana, you have not lived!
o Quaker Ridge - close to home and my buddy's a member, so theoretically get to play as often as I like or as the rules on guests dictate!
o Congressional - need I say more!

I think after Augusta and Pine Valley this might be next on my list of places I want to play, hell it might be ahead of Pine Valley just because of the pure beauty of the place.  Playing Pebble was great but when you catch a glimpse of Cypress you know it is the ultimate goal.

Sebonack is a little bit more than that to Join.
I too have played Sebonack many times, great course with some unbelievable views.  Very tough to play unless you know a member or work there.  Unlike National, even in the fall they only let members their guests and employees play with very few exceptions.  So I would have to say Sebonack is the most exclusive I played.

Rolling Rock Club.  Donald Ross design course in the Laurel Mountains.  So exclusive they have there own police for the course and the few houses around it.  Almost impossible to even see the course unless you know someone.

I would say Swinley Forest or Royal County Down back in the Eighties before they opend the course up for tourists.

The two most exclusive courses I've played are Merion East, where they are having the Open in 2013, and Aronimink Golf Club, where Tiger is hosting his tournament next year.

Pine Valley for me. Played there and Merion the same week.

One of my dad's friends came out to NY a couple of years ago and played Pine Valley, Merion, Winged Foot, National Golf Links of America and Shinnecock in the same week. Not a bad trip all told.

I've been fortunate! In no order:

EastLake, National Golf Links, Bayonne, DeepDale, Glen Oaks, The Vineyard Club, Nantucket GC, Saucon Valley, John's Island West, Adios, Dye Preserve, Red Stick GC, Champions, Merion, Metedeconk, etc....

If by "exclusive" you mean impossible to get a tee-time and 6+ hour rounds, than for me, it's Dyker Beach Golf Course in Brooklyn, NY.
