Thanks, guys. I've always appreciated nice golf course pictures, so while I'm no pro, I always try to look for a good shot when the opportunity arises.

Speaking of good weather, this was from a tournament on Monday at Army Navy CC in Fairfax VA. Course was deemed unplayable after 3 hours of steady and heavy rain. They really should have called it after the first 2 hours.

Here were a couple of pictures before things really started to open up.

Always appreciate looking at this thread, agree with others, when I see there's a new posting I'm clicking on it.  Pictures are great, I tend to forget all to often to take photos when I'm playing!

Sometimes, the worse I play, the more pictures I take just to attempt a mental reboot. :)

Thanks, you guys are too kind. I definitely enjoy capturing the visuals and am glad others find value in it too.

Here are a few more good ones from Congo.

Par 5 6th(?), total risk and reward on the 2nd, I laid up to 95 and airmailed a wedge over the back and 3-putted for double. Ugh.

Posted Image

Par 5 11th, short but the creek up the right side through the green makes you more careful. I hit it to the front of the green in 2 and got up and down for bird.

Posted Image

Par 4 15th, tough to capture in pictures, but a tough, narrow hole with super small green severely left to right. Very cool view with the American flag and clubhouse in the background. I should have gotten a better picture but I was in trouble on the left side the entire way.

Again, missed fairway in thick rough. If I had your wrists though, I could have slashed through that rough like buttah. :D

Courses were too wet to play on today, but I did get to hit 2 buckets of balls at the range to experiment, in between watching the Ryder Cup. Still really digging these irons, even the 3-iron has me wondering if I might be able to find a spot for it.

Mini shootout between these 2, both fantastic clubs.

I'm liking the M2 a lot, which has a Rogue SIlver 70X in it, tipped 0.5" and playing at 43". The BB 816 looks better and feels better, but isn't consistent at all. The BB is off the rack with the Rogue I/O 70, so it's a longer shaft, in S flex, and probably untipped. Choking down with the BB did make a difference, but the shaft still feels loose. However, at 16* the BB is as long as the M2, so there's a lot of potential there.

Also trying an 18* Apex hybrid with stock Kuro Kage in S flex, but as long as it was, it was more wild than the BB. Either going to dump it or reshaft it with something heavier and shorter.

glad to see WRX in local!

I used to go Four Season but now moved to Burke since they opened up renovated range

Thanks for sharing great pictures of courses!

I seem to be going the wrong direction these days as far as "new" clubs go...

I remember when Mr Maxfli was selling those NOS Aussies, Blacks, LTD, A10, etc. And I didn't pick up a set. Took me months to find a decent set of these Aussies on eBay.

This came in last week but that was the same day I hurt my back, so I've just been looking at it. Sure looks good though.

Hopefully your back mends quickly, you'll like hitting that 4+.
