What Top 100 Public Course was the most disappointing to you? Bay Harbor, MI fits the bill for me...

For me it was Bay Harbor (MI). This course is way overpriced and overrated IMO.

Wow. I have played there multiple times and love everything about it. The people there are as cool as they come and the resort is top notch. In fact, I love the area and the golf course so much I am getting married up there next year.

I agree with Federer. Really enjoyed Bay Harbor. Great course.
My top disappointments:
1. Torrey Pines
2. La Costa
3. PGA Stadium (the course wasn't really that bad, but there was a sign right beside number 1 tee box that said "Today's course conditions: Excellent" and the "Excellent" portion of the sign was removable, presumably replaceable with other terms. It's been a few years, don't know if it's still there or not. I've never seen a sign like that anywhere else. And the course conditions the day I played there were average, at best. Sign served only to magnify the lack of "excellent" conditions.)
4. Pine Needles

Princeville Prince course in Kauai. I played it a couple of weeks ago and man was I disappointed. It had a spectacular design with some great views but it was just in AWFUL shape. The bunkers have absolutely no drainage so when I played about 90% of them were filled with water (compared with Poipu Bay and Kauai Lagoons which maybe 2-5% had retained water), the greens were terrible, there were weeds growing, fairways and tee boxes scraggily, and there were just rough patches all over the place. Also the service there was pretty weak compared to the other courses in the area, seemed like they were only about making money.
