Nice and clean. Glad they got rid of the blue graphics on the irons. Maybe the MP-58's have some competition...

Looks like it's a Fujikura Motore shaft???

I'll be looking forward for this! Wonder how different it will be without that plug that's in the X-drive 701.

the irons look pretty similar to the J33's. I really want a set of J36's but can afford them. Hope they're still around in two years. I love Bridgestone irons.

The driver looks sweet! The irons look like they've got back to the J33's. I like the J36's, regardless of the color. Can't wait!

That's exactly what I thought, minus weight port, when I saw the picture. I can't wait to compare those two.

Irons look great. But, it seems like the "B" in the cavity should be black...just my opinion, but I think that they would look a little better if it was.

Driver looks amazing, pass on the j38, took 2 steps back from the 36's. I liked the creativity of the 36's...i geuss too many complained about the blue streaks and they did away with it. well i will join those who are against these new ones!

The woods look good. Hopefully they'll be bringing out some MB's because those irons aren't really tickling my fancy

I really like the look of the driver and 3 wood. I will withhold judgment on the irons until I see them (though I think I am liking them).

Who am I kidding? With BStone's pathetic, incompetent marketing effort, I will never see them. :black eye:

It is not a good thing when ebay is your main distribution channel. :russian_roulette:

And count me in on as one who HATED the awful blue and black mess on the back of the J36's.

The Driver & Fairway look really good. Can't wait to try them out. The irons look pretty good but I think their best were the J33B/CB's.

I had a TS 701r driver for a while, nice club. I always wanted one of the matching fairways, but the jdm specs had them at very upright lie angles (58.5* if I remember) so I never bought one. I am sure with the US release they will be flatter.

The color scheme of the j36 was definitely bright, but that was offset by such good looking clubs. The pocket cavity in the j38 is a huge let down here. Doesn't look anymore forgiving than the cavity back. Also the color scheme just looks like depressing, would have been better with a all chrome/satin with black fill and ditch the gold. They look cheap.

Also getting last years technology Tourstage driver/woods equipment is also a letdown.

Richard,

Do we know anything about the driver?

Will it be as low spin as the J33R 460?

Looks promising... I am not sure about the irons, but the driver looks good!

I can only hope that the new driver is as low spin as the J33 460. Unfortunately, the face doesn't look as deep.

Much like the R510TP, the J33 460 will be legendary for years to come.
