an announcement that ai miyazato won in a playoff in france??????
then he updated all the other tours...and voila...the announcers welcomed us back to the coverage of the masters??
Almost immediately brian hammond said hmm? do you think ai miyazato can keep her one stroke lead.....funny i knew the answer to that...
pathetic coverage and programming / production standards.....

I got screwed too. Since it was tape delayed I avoided checking the results online. I guess not even the golf channel expects anyone to be interested in this event. After the update, I got pissed and turned off the tv. what a joke.

way to go tgc!!! really killed watching the tourney!!!
i will say this, i can relate a little better to the distances of the girls so i can often more easily picture how good or bad i would do vs hearing how one of the guys is 220 out and the announcer says it must be a smooth 8 iron....
...i must also add that on the discussion boards on the golf channel site had not only a few threads but a ton of posts and members upset...i always assume i am one of the few watching but there still is an interest out there...just that things like this do not help.

i'd agree with the distance comment but i much prefer to watch the men's game for the reason that many of the women's (whom the cameras follow, i guess) swings are just so "unusual" with the exception of michelle's "text book" swing.
