Guys, just checked out this bag in person and it weighs 9 Lbs. It looks like a perfect design and looks like it could last forever. I love the way the top sets up and the kickstands are real sturdy. What the lowdown for those of you that have pulled the trigger?

The extra weight is what put me on pause, you thoughts?

actually i think it's 9.5 lbs!!!! i have the white w/ black... it's a great looking bag, but if your a walker you may want to reconsider. I think of it as a hybrid bag (cart/stand). However i did carry it for 9 holes the other day and survived. The only drawbacks are the weight and also i was a little disappointed with the size of the putter well. It's not quite big enough to fit a putter w/ headcover on. But overall its a pretty solid bag!

having used this bag for three rounds, my overall opinion is this is a sharp looking, full-featured but heavy stand bag that is designed more for cart than carry use. Pros: looks (white/black), techno gadgets; magnetic ez-open ball pocket, molded hard shell pocket, cooler and valuables pockets, multiple strap adjustment points. It rides in a cart better than any stand bag I know; rubber pads attached to the legs at strap height really help. With pads on the solid base and the strap-bite rubber patches, the bag has a cushioned ride and stays upright and fixed. The base and legs are sturdy.

Cons: not a fan of the strap system; the plastic slide rail allows the bottom attachment point of the strap to slide vertically about 10" but i don't see any benefit, worse, when standing the strap slides down to come in contact with the ground more than conventional straps. Also agree the putter well is too small/does not isolate the putter head fully from other clubs. My bag arrived with a broken zipper pull, though the zipper worked fine. One of the leg pads lost its rubber insert after one round (kudos to Cally for promptly replacing with new bag)

The bag is twice as heavy as the average carry bag but makes an attractive compact cart bag with sturdy stand/legs.

I mostly ride so it sounds good. When I do walk it's with a caddie so I guess the weight is their problem. Can you describe further the problems with the putter well. Is it too small for the putter to go all the way down into it? Thanks lets keep it going here, both pros and cons. Thanks.
