The weather during my last few rounds has been 90+ with high humidity to boot. I am beginning to think that there would be certain advantages to wearing the "performance fabric" clothing. I have always played in khaki pants and a cotton polo, but now am thinking of redoing my golf wardrobe. I have looked in many places and am having trouble finding quality, stylish golf clothing for big men.

Can anyone help me find quality, performance fabric golf shirts in big sizes?

Callaway has a limited selection.

BTW, I feel your pain, and live it daily.

I'm right there with ya.

Nike Golf does make some styles (Dri-FIT, Tour, etc) in a 3x and 4x size. It's not something that you'll find on the website all the time. I checked and there are a couple of styles in a 3x.

Nike also has a 4x in some styles too. This probably will be something that you'll have to call to order, but it is available.

I've seen some of the Nike etc available in big sizes on sites like TGW.

You can find some stuff from Reebok, Cutter & Buck at CasualmaleXL.

I like the moderately-priced Russell Athletic Dri-Fit line of shirts which I get from DavisBigandTall.

(all of these are plus a dot com)

Being big and/or tall is a pain.

I wear a 4x or 3xlt and i have had some luck with Marshalls and they often have some addidas climacool shirts in our size. Check a local event or product marketing company. i have had some luck with performance fabric shirts from devon and jones ordered for me by a friend who works as a sales rep for a product marketing company. Under Armour fits sometimes but you have to try each one on.

One of the worst parts of being fat (350ish) was the difficulty in finding nice clothes at a reasonable price. For nice clothes, the best I found was at Rochester Big & Tall (online and in many cities). Unfortunately, they charge you out the .... Otherwise, I got stuff at Macy's.

BTW - in really hot weather, I found it very comfortable to wear a nice Tommy Bahamas shirt with an undershirt underneath.

The best part of losing a shipload of weight (other than my wife) was getting to have lots of choices in clothing. Good luck.

Im both very big and very tall - I get a lot of my stuff at Davis Big & Tall, they have a pretty good selection of clothes strictly for golf(Cutter & Buck, Greg Norman etc.)

Westport Big & Tall, Jay Stevens, and TGW are also pretty good and all can be found online. Occasionaly get lucky at Marshalls, although Marshalls is hit or miss a lot of times.
