Hey guys,



My dad (just turned 65) has been struggling hitting his irons. He struggles to hit his PW 90 yards now. He loves his woods and plays a full set from driver (200 yard) to 11 wood (130 yards) and hits them well. To help my pops out, I purchased a set of Cleveland hibores 5-sw with regular graphite shafts for him. My questions are the following:

• Has any one played the hibores?
  
• How much will the graphite shafts help?
  
• Should he swing the clubs like irons (hit down on them) or like woods (sweep)?
  
• Where should he play the ball (in his stance) when playing a hybrid PW and SW?

Any help would be great.

Your dad is a lucky man. I have heard they are good clubs. I think just hitting them and adjusting them as necessary to see what you need to do as far as sweep or hit down. Good Luck Ball!

Ball Game; I have a friend who plays the hibore irons with graphite shafts and he loves them. Best irons he ever owned. I'm guessing if he hits his woods good he will also hit these hibores good. I can only hope my son reads your post, I just turned 65. : - )
