Hey,

I was wondering how many wear Nike apparel (hats, clothes, shoes, socks, underwear, glove), but refuse to use their equipment?

My buddy is Nike from head to toe including sunglasses but refuses to use any of their equipment :D

I wouldn't say I am Nike from head to toe, but I have a few Nike shirts and two pair of Nike shoes, but nothing else.

I've used their equipment previously - it's not that I refuse to purchase Nike Golf Equipment, it's that they don't have anything that appeals to me.

Love the perforated Hats, shorts and pant for me. I would like their shirt alot more if the logo was not in the front. I have a nike outlet near me so I get the clothing for cheap.

I have some nice Nike shirts and a pair of shorts (don't like them that much). But, the one Nike thing I can not get rid of is my nike drifit hat. I have been trying to find one to replace it, but I can't. I am almost embarrassed to wear it - it was blue now it looks greyy from sweat and the sun.

Roll top socks are the best I've found...3 sizes probably helps, shorts, slacks, shirts-not so much, outerwear and dri-fit hats. And I have a Nike carry bag.

Three pair of shoes that I seldom wear, 8 Dri-Fit shirts (which IMO are great), no equipment currently. I tried their irons and the first Sasquatch driver a few years ago. I play better with other equipment. I'm in no way a hater, but not a full line lover either.

I'll play what works or fits my eye... not a huge fan of NOP, as it's always been way short off the tee.

I typically wear TW Platinum shirts and the Dri-fit pants/shorts and rotate a stable of golf shoes.

I sport almost all nike gear, shirts, shorts, pants, and a couple pair of shoes. It just fits me well. As far as equipment goes the only thing that appeals to me are the new split cavities and the vr wedges- i'd be willing to at least hit em.

When the price is right I'll wear Nike apparel. Have even been known to hit Nike Platinum series balls ---- when I find them of course. Not a great fan of the clubs, though.

Because one is not using Nike equipment doesn't necessarily mean they refuse to use it.

I have two pairs of Nike trousers (pants) which are pretty nice, though I don't play any Nike clubs or balls and likely never will.

Funny you mention this. I play nothing Nike, but almost all of my apparel is Nike. I have not hit anything of their clubs I care for, but I love their polos and hats. It also helps that I have an outlet within 30 minutes, and the pro at the local private club is sponsored by Nike. My wife yard sales at his house. Nearly new Dri-fits for a buck? Hang yeah!

I voted 'yes' here, but I occasionally use the Nike One Tour ball. Some of the best fitting and looking apparel around, IMO.

I had the original blue Nike driver when it came out and that was the first and last piece of Nike equipment I ever played, I do however like their shirts and love their Dri-Fit shorts.

I like their shirts, but the the only club i have of theirs is a hybrid. What does apparel have to do with clubs?

I really like Nike clothes. The shirts fit me well and are comfortable. The shorts are the perfect length for me. Not a fan of the shoes though.

One Nike belt, that is the only Nike product I own.

Will never purchase any type on Nike shoe again, they do not last for me.

Would try the irons.

Been a huge Nike supporter since my high school days when i was on the basketball team. I have Nike TW Shorts, SP-8 TW shoes, Nike Visor and i even wear the Nike Pro tights/shorts underneath. But i do not wear Nike Polo's because they are waaaay too baggy. The only club in my bag that are Nike is the TW Blades and the bag itself. I also own shares of NKE.

I don't wear Nike apparel, I play Nike Balls.

The only person I can think of that wears Nike apparel but doesn't use any Nike equipment is Eldrick Woods. He uses Mizuno irons, Titleist wedges, Cobra woods, and plays a balata Titleist Pro-100

Nike apparel, IMO is some of the best out there. I also wear their shoes, which aren't the most comfortable, but grip the best and are the most stable, I find. As far as equipment goes, not a fan of their drivers, but the fairway woods are pretty good, and the new irons are not bad at all. I gamed a unitized putter for a while too, which was ok. Not sure a) what the stigma against Nike gear is, and b) what apparel has to do with equipment. If you wear Adidas, should you be playing TM? If you wear Footjoy, should you be playing Titliest?

If the clothes are cheap and look good, I use them, regardless of brand. Clubs however are a different story altogether. Never used a Nike club, and probably never will.

Funny...The clothing is stylish and fits me better than most other brands, but the clubs are gaudy and look cheaply made when I put them down at address. So I guess I'd say the clothes fit me, but the clubs don't!

Their shoes are cool to look at, but I think they wear out waaaaaaaaay too quickly. Cheaply made with softer materials, so they feel good at the pro shop, but break down quickly. The opposite of FootJoy...hard as hell to break in, but after you do, they last forever.

I really like Nike clothes. Great fit, long lasting and very comfortable. 100% of my workout clothing (shorts, shirts, socks) is Nike and at least 50% of my golf wardrobe is Nike. Their Dry-Fit stuff is fantastic.

I hated their shoes when they first came out (around 1998 I believe). I got a pair for a tee prize. They were the MOST PAINFUL shoes I ever tried to wear. Caused blisters even after they were broken in. Finally threw them away.

Several years later, I was poking fun at the Nike rep at a demo day at how crappy their shoes were and he said, I will give you a new pair to try for free. If they suck, give them back, no charge. If you like them, pay me for them. I figured what the heck. They were comfortable from day 1. Night and day difference from that first pair I tried. They were so good that I stopped buying Footjoy Classics.

Now I know from my friends that Nike shoes don't fit everyone, but they fit me. Also they don't last as long as the Footjoy Classics but in Portland, we get so much wet play that the waterproofing gives out long before the shoes themselves wear out so I don't keep shoes for more than 2 seasons. Footjoys would still look good after 2 years (much better quality leather) but the waterproofing was shot so I couldn't use them 1/2 the year anyways.

Golf clubs are a whole different ballgame. They sucked from day 1 and as far as I am concerned they still suck. I have kept trying them but nothing appeals to me and I can get anything of theirs for 1/2 price and it still isn't worth it.

However, I do believe Nike stuff does keep getting better and perhaps one day they will have a club I would actually want to game.

equipment is just as solid as the apparel (which I love). Had VR wedges, Ignite and SQ drivers. Early stuff was week, newer stuff is legit. Pretty sure if it is good enough for Tiger you can use it with confidence.

Nike TW collection shorts, slacks & shirts.  Nike special edition TW SP8 shoes, Nike belts, dri fit socks, Nike watch.   Bridgestone caps, balls and clubs, NO Nike.  Unless TW wants to send me one of his Miura forged backup sets.  Actually, Ive seen a set of Miura forged J33B prototypes that I would probably rather game. lol :)
