I have some blisters on my index fingers and I've been using the white athletic tape to cover them. Anyway just wondering if there is anything against the rules about taping my fingers.

Tiger wears them all the time. If it was against the rules, I'm sure someone would have called him on it by now.
Gayney wears two gloves so, where's the fault?

Okay great.
mdgboxx - Just seemed odd to me that w/ out the tape I could barely pick up the club, but with the tape, I had no pain. I just figured there was some rule against it, since it was helping me so much.

I use tape a lot...When I decide to punish myself for a bad day, I'll hit 150 balls on the range after walking 27 holes.
Believe me! If I don't use tape I will end up with blisters UNDER the calluses...I found out the hard way...Now, you don't have to. I'm not making fun of you, just telling it like it is

Be careful how you put tape on a grip though. I believe it is against the rules to place tape on a putter grip for example, as to mark the grip, so you place your hands in the same place every time. It is ok to put it over the entire grip, ala, Scott Verplank.
