Hi all. I'd like to buy a new pair of dryjoys online. I already have this pair:

and I would like to buy this one:

I'd like to know if there is a size and a sole width difference between these two since they seems to be so different to me, even if it's the same model.

Thanks in advance

I've had both models and did not have to make any size adjustment.

One good thing about Footjoy is that they tend to run about the same size in all of their models.

Check if they are made from the same 'last'. A 'last' is the model that the shoe is built around (kind of). If they are the same last, they are most likely going to have the same fit characteristics.

I have several pairs of DryJoys from different years and the sizes have remained consistent.

I have the bottom pair in white/blue and the top pair in white/brown- they fit almost exactly the same. The bottom ones do seem to be a little more comfy, but it could just be because I wear them more.

classics will fit more like a dress shoe (which generally run more true to ones foot size)

I have a pair of the all white Dry-Joy PODS in 9.5M as well as a 9.5M in the Synr-g. I can tell that I swim in the PODS unless I wear two pair of socks due to width. The 'Last' of the Synr-g is different the PODS so as the fit. P-E-R-F-E-C-T.

The two shoes do have the same last (the classic laser plus) so the width should be the same. The only difference is that the ones on the bottom have a U-tongue and the ones on the top have a V-tongue. The two different tongue styles offer a little more room in the top of the shoe on a U-tongue and a little less room on the V-tongue. But for a lot of people it ends up feeling softer on a U-tongue because of that little more additional room. Overall you should just stick with the same size and width and you should be fine.

This is spot on! I discovered this when I updated my Gel-Fusions to Gel-Fusion 2's. They went to a V style with the newer model, and the newer model was much too tight. You should be fine since the newer DJ has the wider U style vs. the older DJ V style.

Since I don't want to open another topic I ask here a question about Adidas Climacool pants. What's the difference, in terms of name, between the climacool pant with the stripe sewed in front of the pants and between the flat ones?

I have both models in white and wear the same size in each. Just bought a pair online for half price.
