That is good news and hopefully indicates that she's doing well.
Speaking purely for his game, it would be a shame to see him have an extended layoff of any kind. It's just so hard to get back to top form with all the talent out there on the tour. Just ask Tiger.

Especially for Amy, I like Phil but have lost both my mom (breast) and dad to (prostate) cancer so I know what it is like. Good luck Amy you CAN beat this !!

I hope his wife is doing well. They are a nice couple. Phil was great at Doral and had a storming round at the Masters. It would be great to see him at Bethpage and also at The (British) Open. The field at the Brit Open should be epic.
