2 holes in one...could not see the first one go in but I got to see the second one and my wife was along with me so that made it a little more special.  No double eagles yet.

Two aces... And, didn't see either go in!  First in 1994.  Thought I'd hit a bad shot, turned around in disgust, and the brother-in-law said it went in the hole.  Didn't believe him until walked to the green and found it in the cup.  (Foursome, that day, had a 1, 2, 3, and 4 on the hole.)  Second in 2004.  Regular playing partner and I were playing in early morning sun.  Knew I'd hit it well and we didn't see it on the green.  He thought maybe I'd hit it over the back.  Just knew I didn't have enough club to clear the green.  Ball was in the cup.  At one every 10 years, next will be in 2014.  I'll be 68, then and hope I'm still able to play this game.

I have had two so far.  My first was about 5 years ago with a 9 iron from 159 (way elevated tee).

Here is a picture of the hole that I just took.

Three eagles and none came on par fives, one par three and two par fours. The ace was in front of my coach. He was on me for selecting the wrong club before the shot, and after the most ugly dying duck slice, thought for sure it was short until he walked across the green and found it in the cup. The two eagles on par fours came in the same week, one tuesday the other thursday. The first was on a short par four that some can drive the green, I was just looking to bump a chip up close and it went in. The second on another short hole, three wood then wedge in. I was playing with my coach's son, he thought I should hit a lob wedge in to the tight pin. I said "no I'm going to bump it up there and let it release to the hole and knock it in." I was so stunned that I actually hit the precise shot I had described I didn't even get excited, it was more shock and disbelief. The unfourtunate thing about all these shots is that they were all on the way to 18+ over par rounds, ah well thats golf.

Only one hole-in-one, and it was one of the worst shots I hit that day - a 165 yard par 3, overclubbed, skulled it, it never gets higher than the flagstick, it hits the front of the green, rolls into the hole.

I've had many, many "good" shots that have come close (we're talking an inch or two) but they have never gone in.

I have had no hole is ones or eagles   . I have hit the pin on one Par 3 when the ball was running SLOWLY and it bounced straight off it!! And I've lipped out for eagle on a Par 5.

My Dad has never made an Ace and hasn't even been close  :vava: He plays off 2. But he has had 4 Double Eagles! :D  :cheesy: And seen them all go in. One of them he hit a big draw with a 4 irons was drawing the the left hand side of the green and kicked off a sprinkle and went in. All the others were great shots and were all over the stick the whole time. I saw one go in   Wish I can do it one day.

An investor takes myself, my parner and our first assistant to the Bahamas every year. A couple of years ago we finished 18 the first day we got there and we decided to keep playing. The last hole we played was a 3 par, 177 yards. I hit a perfect 7 iron. It hit right of the hole and rolled over a mound in front of the pin. We got to the hole and we started looking over the green. Finally my partner walked over to the hole and said here it is!!

I have had one of each. My hole in one was 2 years ago 160yard 8iron to our 6th hole (island green like Sawgrass). Hopped in front of the pin jumped past and spun back in. My Double Eagle came on the 18th hole of our city qualifier. I had been playing bad all day and walked up to the 18th tee a par 5 and said heck with it. Killed a drive and hit a 2 iron in from about 220. I never saw it go in but I made the cut on the number because of it with a sucky 83. Went on to shoot 75 the next day in the rain. My Ace was in our clubs weekend skins game and it cost me more in beer $$ then I won in skin $$.. Go figure!!!

I have never had an ace, but I did have a double eagle last year.  It was on a shorter uphill par 5 (525 yds).  I nailed my drive right down the center to just over 200 yds out and then hit a 4 iron.  I saw it hit on the front of the green but because the green was so much higher than where I was at I didn't see it roll in.  My buddies and I first walked behind the green and didn't find it...then to the side....then I casually strolled past the hole to see my ball.  My favorite part about it was one of my buddies chipped in for eagle and then goes:  "Go figure, I chip in for eagle and you still stole the box from me!"  I had never laughed so hard in my life.

I have been playing golf for over 25 years and have had only 4 aces - they happened all in the same year, 1997.  My first occurred while giving someone a playing lesson.  The other three were all on par 3s 200+ yards in length.

I had two.  The first one was incredibly special.  I was in Scotland with my dad and bro after I graduated from college.  2nd one was great also, but I was out as a single paired up with 3 other guys I did not know.  So it was a bit anticlimactic.

One.....126yd GW at hole #6 of Woodmont Golf Club  located in North Atlanta, GA (Canton, GA to be precise) .  Pin was tucked behind a mound....didn't see it go in... :vava:    A guy was cutting his lawn across the street and stopped his lawn mower to yell,   " I've been living here three years and have never seen one!  THANKS!"

Almost two.....Jarred one at my home course (hole #5) from 180yds;  unfortunately it was a reload after hitting my first in the water.  Nice Par though.

I have made 4 eagles and about 6 or 7 birdies  by holing out  from the fairway.  Seems like those as are unlikely as an ace but still not a hole-in-one

That's nuts!

I had one when I was 14 on hole 14. I was probably 5' 8" and 120 lbs soaking wet. It was my first year ever playing golf and I hit a 5 iron at 155 yards! Hard to believe that's a nine iron for me now (9 years later).

That's great!  I'd rather have your brother's situation.  Rarer statistically I'm sure.

30 years of golf, 50-75 rounds per year.  Been as low as 2.9 handicap.  Currently 4hc.

NEVER HAD ONE

A lady starter/marshal at the course where I was just working has had 37.  That was a month ago.  She may have another by now.

One of our juniors there has 11.

I suck at life.

I have 1 ace..........162yd par 3 8-iron on the 12th hole at Adams Pointe Golf Club.
http://www.adamspointegolfclub.com/
The green plays slightly uphill so half of the green isn't visible from the tee.  The cup was cut middle right section of the green in a bowl so we couldn't see it drop from the tee.  I had honors and the shot looked good enough that we were talking about aces as the other players hit....and it continued as we drove to the green.   Who'da thunk...it did go in!!

I've never had a double eagle, but I do have 12 par 4 deuces................the longest was holed from 228yds after a poor tee shot :taunt:

I simply don't understand how people rack up holes in one. I play the majority of my rounds on a par 3 course, have played it around 100 times in the past year, 0 aces confirmed; I might have made one during a practice game when I hit 5 or 6 balls on one hole, ball was in the cup, but no idea if that was the shot or if it was a deflection.

The only hole in one I have came when playing as a single...didn't see it go in the hole myself and no witnesses...really? REALLY??

No double eagles, though I did witness one on a par 4 once.

Controlled luck I guess - I've got 11 aces, 10 were on Par 3 courses ranging from 70-135 yards and the other was on a regulation course Par 3 hole of 215 yards.  No double eagle yet but time is against me at 53.

I have had 2 in my years of playing.

My first was March 20, 1996 on the seventh hole at Willowick Golf Course (a muni in Santa Ana , Ca) Hole #7 playing 168 Yards with my 1984 Wilson Staff Tour Blades 5 Iron and a Wilson Ultra Tour Balata #1

My second was September 21, 2009 at Cypresswood Golf Club (public course in Spring, Texas) Hole # 5 on the Cypress Course playing 175 Yards with my Adams Pro Gold Forged 5 Iron and a TaylorMade TP Red #2

I have kept both balls and written the occasion on them.
