I keep checking golfnow and the prices are getting lower and lower, should we start setting something up?

If Im not mistaken, the majority of the AZ crew live up in Scottsdale, so any suggestions for some courses would be appreciated as Ive never played in that area before.

Keep in mind that times are tough for some if not most, so hopefully we can get a sweet course with the price tag under $50 bucks.

-Fore_Life

BTW, the end of june/first week of July is out for me with my gf's graduation and my brother getting married, so any time before or after that woorks best, at least for me.

And if anyone wants to get together in the Tempe are during the week, Ahwatukee CC has had rates under 25 bucks with cart.

I'd be down for something coming up soon.

Busy until Next Tuesday (Finals), and then again last week in July (Sister's wedding for me).

Preferably a weekend though as I am kept busy with work.

medicaptain, where do you live? Ive got a 2 for 1 pass for the Legend @ arrowhead that Ive got to use in the next few months.
Also, Ive been wanting to get out and play the Raven @ Verrado once they have their all you can play special.

My radiator blew up on the way home from Southern Dunes setting me back almost $800, so I gotta just play Ahwatukee for the most part until I get caught back up.

Verrado...when the greens are good...one of the best courses around!...lemme know when you guys wanna hit it

are you familiar with the pricing schedule of verrado? Other than estrella, how are the other courses in that neck of the woods? Id like to get out and play a few tracks in that area.

Golf Club of Estrella (Not the Muni!), Verrado, Corte Bella (private) and Vistancia are really the only "players" tracks out this way and all of them are dropping their prices right about now...the rest of them are kinda dogs. Copper Canyon isnt too bad at times but is WAY out west on Bell Rd..WAY

For me, Wildfire, Legend Trail, Troon, Mirabel, Desert Mountain, Ancala are must plays depending on cost or friendly access. I have not had a chance to play Grayhawk yet or Kierland....I cant wait for the cheap rates to return....~~!!!!!!

I play Raven South Mtn about once or twice a week too.....they REALLY have done alot in regards to the conditioning and have some good rates sometimes on Golfnow....

Golfsigma isnt too bad of a website for tee times either........

I've been meaning to get out to play Verrado also.

I am always up for anything reasonable.

Calvin, hit me up and we can carpool out that way if you'd like once I get my funds in order.

I played The Raven @ South Mountain last summer for $20 and its was worth every penny and then some. If its that low this year, I'll be there twice a week, too.

And vamos, Im down to play with anyone.

Can't wait to get back out with you guys again. I have a ryder cup match against Terravita on the 16th and then a ryder cup against Vandenberg/Cali from the 21 -24th. After that I'm game... Like Verrado, nice track. My buddy played estrella two weeks ago and said its in terrible shape... putting on sand.

CK, One putt, ForeLife... throw me a pm if you guys set up a weekend tee time and need a fourth. I live in Dobson Ranch so if anybody wants to carpool it I am game to drive.

If you live in Dobson Ranch youre not too terribly far from me.

Also for a quick cheap weekend or weekday round, Dobson Ranch muni isnt too bad, and if Im not mistaken the rates are under $20. Not sure what type of condition its currently in.

Ken McDonald dropped to $12 to walk 18, and $8 dollars after 1PM!!!! And if you want to play Ahwatukee, send me a PM, I know the rate is much cheaper than Dobson and they have some sweet greens out there, IMO, I'd say they are better than the ones at Southern Dunes. Not a tough course if you keep it in the fairway, but a fun track to run around and an easy walk. Let me know, Im there 5 days a week lol.

You would fit right in.

In our outing at Southern Dunes we had scores ranging from a 1 Over 73 to like 112.

I still got my rain check coupon for Ahwatukee from that one day.

And I am not too picky when it comes to where to play, as long as it is not absolutely terrible.

Ill be out at Awhatukee all day sunday 05/10 if anyone wants a sunday game. As far as the next outting goes I would like to get something set up for the end of june.

I just need to get the work situation resolved first. I thought I had it all set, but the company decided they were not busy enough to bring on the 4 new people they just hired :russian_roulette: :russian_roulette: :russian_roulette: so back to square one.

Wow... that sucks.

Anyways, doing something like that is probably a good sign you don't want to work for them anyway.

The new irons are fantastic, Im very pleased with them. It took me about a week or so to pick up on the distances Ive gained with the stronger lofts, but man, Im really pleased with my new sticks.

Terrance, Im planning on playing all day monday and wed, you interested?

We now have an opening for Sat at the Duke tee time 10:28 My self Forelife and a good chance Ckguy will be there. The guest rate would be 28 bucks is what we were told.

I will be bringing 18 basketball hoops to use as cups and maybe just maybe I will stop lipping putts out or burning edges. j/k btw

Great time today Tjy and Mark, I am really starting to like the Duke.

and Pat if your reading this 11/14 fairways today(one bunker, one just barley off the fairway and one house :vava: .) Of course it doesnt hurt that the fairways are as wide as New Jersey ;)

Yeah, the duke is awesome. I still feel horrible for my shank into Tom. What are the odds that his club would've saved him?

Hey Mark, no harm, no foul as they say. But you may have noticed that I stepped behind the tree before your next shot! :D

I enjoyed playing with you guys despite being continually outdriven by 40 yards... :vava: I should swallow my pride and step up to the senior tees next time...

The Duke is a fun course, in great shape and VERY good rates.

So how do you get on the "AZ List?" I live out in Goodyear (SW Phoenix) and would love to play some of the above mentioned courses with some WRX guys.
