I've seen some people around here who obviously collect putters, so it got me thinking...what do you collect?

Myself, I collect scorecards and yardage guides (if applicable) from all the courses I've played. I've got them from all over the world. I also kept/keep all my letters and offers/Letters of Intent from Colleges that are interested in me playing for them. Thought it'd be cool to look back on one day.

I try not to collect doubles; In my home library, I have a golf specific collection of books that I try to limit to the most interesting books on golf course design and architecture; I avoid golf instruction books.

Like the OP, I never throw away a score card or a yardage book.

CLUBS! PUTTERS, DRIVERS, IRON SETS, scorecards and golf balls with logos, other than that pretty much nothing at all.

My father got me started on probably the worst golf thing that you can collect. Divot tools. At $10 to $25 apiece this collection gets expensive very quick. Logo tees and pencils are the best thing to collect-Free!

Both of these. And when I hit the road, I like to pick up golf towels from different courses.

2. Antique duck decoys.

3. Terry Redlin and John Eberhardt wildlife art.

4. My golf stats from every round.

Lately, in partnership with my missus, I collect animals. Currently our household comprises four humans, five canines, two felines, and six vermin - in the form of two guinea pigs and four rabbits.

As a youngster, I was an apprentice Comic Book Guy and collected comics. I even had a ponytail at one point.

I started this collection a few years back as well. I'm only 22, so I haven't really had the opportunity to get around to that many courses yet, but I'm sure I'll continue it for the rest of time. Maybe some day I'll make a display for them.

Oh ya. One thing I forgot to mention in my previous post; I collect Bag Tags from courses I visit.

I keep one or two of my favourite bag tags on my bag, the rest are displayed on hooks on a peg board wall in my golf room. Ballybunion and Glen Abbey have some of the best bag tags.

I do not collect logo golf balls, but it seems I have unconsciously started to hoard logo pencils in a small box. Perhaps I realize I already have too much golf stuff and I am not ready to admit that I am collecting golf pencils too. At least pencils do not take up too much room.

I collect bag tags. Try to get one for every course I play. (no, I don't have them all hanging on my bag...)
